I ate here a few days at lunch for a spinach wrap with salmon filling that drew me back - service nice although pretty empty ... I had a guest one day and she enjoyed it too

Special rate if you mention you are a guest of the Metro Hotel. Very clean, good service, polite staff. Take a seat in the window and watch the people going by.

came in here for dinner, menu looked good, and we were seated and then ignored and then ignored and then after asking if someone could come take our order, we were ignored ..... thousands of restaurants in nyc ..... you don't need to go to this one (unless you are on a fasting diet) .... they were obviously more interested... Stayed in accompnaying hotel Metro. Only ate here once - chicken caesar salad, so nothing technical but chicken was on the dry side. Lots of alternatives nearby but we didn't find anything that stood out from the crowd.

We were staying next door in the Hotel Metro. A discount sounded a nice idea, so did the short walk after a tiring full day walking around Manhatton. Having read the past reviews I was looking forward to a good meal. People had mentioned large portions so we decided to go with only having mains. My wife had Marsala Chicken... More

When we arrived in NYC last week for our 5-night stay at the Hotel Metro, we decided to try the Metro Grill for dinner, even though it was quite small, and we were unsure of how the food would be. I ordered the chicken pot pie (a safe choice!), and my husband ordered the chicken with burgundy sauce special. We... More

Standard fare with upscale dining, for folks joining larger groups. Adventurous Korean restaurants are steps away, so you can split up and still be on the same street.

If you want great service, delicious food in a quiet comfortable spot. This is the place for you. While the food is excellent the service is even better. Try the breakfast special. Great deal and cooked to perfection. A hidden gem for a romantic early dinner or a fun filled family lunch. Can't wait to go back in November.

Very friendly bar staff, quick service and amazing bar snacks - I highly recommend the beef nachos. Happy hour Monday to Saturday from 3pm to 7pm.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
