I went with my family and thought the food was very good. Everything tasted fresh and good portion size. The host was very friendly. The owner was also there and he was very friendly and warm. Would highly recommend if in the neighborhood.

Had a delicious lunch here at an outdoor table during the Atlantic Antic street fair. I tried the Sheik al M'ohshi which is eggplant with ground lamb, pine nuts, yogurt on a lentil rice, all with perfumy spices. The waiters are modest and so polite. The food is fresh and homemade. I felt like I was invited to a Lebanese... More

We had a party of 5 and service was exceptional; however, the kitchen was a little slow. I ordered the shish kabob. The lamb was seasoned and cooked well, no complaints. My entrée arrived with rice and salad (tossed in vinaigrette). My friends enjoyed their meals as well. One stated her hummus was "a standard deviation above the mean". We'll... More

We had a wonderful meal in this authentic , old school Middle Eastern restaurant, satisfying vegetarians and omnivores with freshly prepared tasty main dishes, crisp, crunchy , flavorful salads, and a generous serving of home baked pita bread for the table. The service was quick and considerate , and the menu offered so many choices. I had a meze platter... More

Located at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Clinton Street in Brooklyn, Tripoli has moved from its street-level location to its party room, one flight down. I ate there recently with a Cypriot friend and a couple of New Yorkers. I hadn't eaten at Tripoli since they made their move downstairs. I was pleasntly surprised to find that everything was... I was at a conference in Brooklyn so I thought it would be a treat to eat on Atlantic Ave at a Lebanese restaurant. I was focused on raw kibbee but they don't make it any longer even though it is still on the menu. I settled for baked kibbee with a side if libne. My dinner had two generous... More

The decor is like a trip to the Middle East, yet you’re a few blocks from NYC’s East River and the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The food is an experience. Tasty, well-known treats such as shish-kebab, mixed grill, tabouli, lentil soup, hummus and babaganouj. But also a wide range of other middle eastern treats: okra, foul madamas (fava beans with garlic,... More

We had the 20 dish Mezze which was very good and plenty of food for the 3 of us. The place was quiet but the service was quite slow probably because of a lot of takeouts and the number of dishes. We enjoyed the experience and the owner was quite apologetic for the delay. Good value too - $45 plus... More

I'm not kidding. They are currently undergoing what I think is a renovation, so you will have to dine in the basement. The basement is finished, though so don't worry. It's actually pretty cool down there, with some interesting design. I had Seleck B`loubia and it was delicious! They also serve some appetizers for free, warm pita bread, olives and... More

We were heading for another restaurant but noticed the sparkling white fairy lights in the window, and liked the menu. Inside a large mural spanned one of the walls; music played gently in the background. The place is friendly and the food, both tasty and well priced. To start we shared a meze (large plate of babagannoush, hummus, cheese, olives,... More
