Great ambiance. Very loud to enjoy dinner with the family. We were a party of 5 sitting at a table for 4. There is alot of food as each dish can serve 2-3. The food was average. The price was not worth it. You are in midtown so they get you. I prob would go back but not at a... More

Group of five, we started with a salad and fried calamari. Shared a veal dish, a plate of sausages, meatballs and peppers, and a plate of spinach. The spinach was very garlicky, and stringy. The sauce and meatballs were tasty but the ratio of meat to peppers was low. The veal was the best dish. Wine prices were steep. Although... More

Not too impressed this time around with Tony's. Food just ok. Tonys was our staple in NYC. Seemed to rush us.Portions still large but food wasnt all that hot. After we ordered, food literally came to the table in 5 minutes..Seemed stragnge. Barely time to sit and chat.Going to be taking a break from Tony's for awhile!

We were given a Tony's gift card for our wedding present by family who love Tony's and who always visit when in NYC. We had had our reservation made ahead for us so we were liking forward to our visit. We had been told to visit on an empty stomach and now we know why... all of the portions are... More

Food was awesome. Family size portions, vodka sauce was yummy. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait a long time.

Atmosphere was nice but very loud. Bar area is very small and it gets crowded. Make a reservation if going on the weekend we had one for 730 and only waited an additional 10 minutes but overheard a walk in told it would be a 2 hour wait. Food is family style and a good value it's basically a Carmines... More

As soon as you walk into this restaurant, it is easy to tell it is use to large groups. I arrived with a family of sixteen and we were seated quickly in a perfect area for our large group. We were immediately served although it was a very busy night. We ate family style and ordered dishes for our table... More

Right in Times Square this place has an extensive menu. They can handle large parties with a reservation. The menu selections are all large and meant for sharing. We split a caprese special salad and an eggplant and veal dish which truly delivered. Our server Robin was excellent. This is a busy place, especially at theater time. Good value and... More

Booked the restaurant off TripAdvisor recommendations. It did not disappoint!! Fabulous atmosphere on arrival, very busy & loud but warm & welcoming staff. Had a drink at bar & then seated. Impeccable, friendly & knowledgable staff. Had calamari fritti for entree - light & delicious. Had the mushroom ravioli (special) with Parmesan & sage for main.... creamy, beautiful mushrooms, lovely... More

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
