We had tried another restaurant that was closed and happened upon Tony's . We were there during MLK , so the crowd was light. We found the food, service and atmosphere excellent . They have the sharing dishes like Carmines, but just the right amount to share. Will definitely comeback. The decor was a bit kitzy but still fun. Had... More

We was recommended to go to this place by a friend and we booked a table, which I would advise to do. It was a busy place and quite big but so good. We were asked by the waiter is we had been before and we replied no, so they explain a few things about the dishes, as they are... More

Tony's was awesome! Great atmosphere, but was rather loud. The caesar salad was amazing. The dressing was very thin, which was a great twist to such a classic dish. Also, the waiters/waitresses made the salad right in front of you! For couples, be sure you both agree on a food, as portions are served for 2-3 people.

If you are visiting NYC and planning to visit Times Square, you must eat at Tony's. This restaurant is very affordable given the fact it is located in Times Square. The ambiance is absolutely fantastic and the food is really good. If you want to make sure you can have a table, don't forget to take a reservation. The place... More

Reminds me of the Italian "joint"you would see on Seinfeld...Awning out front, down a few steps, walk in old school, piano playing ...It only got better from there..Not pretentious..Just really good food, Chicken Francesca best sauce ever, tasted the marinera...Just so good...Really enjoyed it..

After a check on Google and TripAdvisor we decided to go for Tony's, it was crowded and we had to wait for 10 minutes for a table, which was no problem. Looking at the menu prices, we thought we hit the jackpot, but as stated and also mentioned by the waitress, the portions are big! Really big! Enough for 2-3... More

We found this absolutely delicious italian restaurant on Yelp. Based on reviews, we waited the 2 hr wait. Arrived 30 minutes earlier than our said time and were seated immediately. The plates are family style dinning. We ordered their Caesar salad which is prepared at table side--amazing! so delicious! our family ordered chicken alfredo-best, silky, creamy sauce ever tasted. We... More

Location was recommended by an friend, and all the reviews we read were great. The entrees serve no less than 2 people. The dinner we had was veal parmesan. Unfortunately, the meat was dry. My spouse enjoyed, but I'm not big on veal in the first place, so we did not complain. The appetizer and desert were both excellent, and... More

I love the family style portions here. We arrived 30 mins. early for our reservation and were seated immediately, which I appreciated. We had chicken parm and cheese ravioli. Definitely enough for a family of four. Lovely atmosphere with great service. This place is every bit as good as Carmine's. I liked the sangria as well. We'll definitely be back!

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
