Loved this family style italian restaurnant. Make a reservation if possible but we only had to wait 15 minutes. We had a group od 7 ordered 2 apps, 1 salad, and 3 entrees to share. Fettuccine alfredo, peppers and sausage with meatballs, and the special crab ravioli! All wonderful portions and very tasty!

The NY lady at the table next to us said this was the best Italian in NYC Great food but luckily we were warned about the portion size! We shared the seafood pasta between 3 of us and there was loads! Great atmosphere, very loud, and you definitely need to book as its so close to Times Square

Family Italian type, huge plates that serve more than 2, but if you are hungry, you will be moren than satisfied together your wife for example. Nice place, nice attendants, did not wait more than 3 minutes to get a table and the place was full. It's a good choice.

Super large portions, quite tasty. We were 3 people and ordered Caprese Rustica which could easily feed 4 people, Pappardelle with mushrooms & truffle oil which was pretty good but we could only eat half of it, and finally the Eggplant with Veal, which was large enough for 4 people which we hardly touch. The restaurant is large and for... More

This place is a good alternative if you're in the mood for family style Italian and Carmines wait is too long. Their best feature is the table side salad. Other than that, it's not quite as good as Carmines. Smaller portions didn't win me over. It's good. Worth a try. I'm still a Carmines loyalist though.

We were in a bit of a hurry and we're looking for something light and quick. The concierge at our hotel thought this might work and we decided to try it. The key here is that everything is served family style with each item serving 2-3 people. We wanted a salad and the shared Caesar was perfect. The dinners we... More

This restaurant is a rather unique place where 2-3 people share a meal... which was rather nice. The food was very delectable and it had great service although it took along time for our drinks to be served I could understand since it was very busy.

All meals are served on an oval platter and are for 2-3 people. We had the stuffed mushrooms for starters filled by rigatoni al vodka. More than enough for 2 adults and a 12 year old to share. Great busy atmosphere and great value.

I had this restaurant as a possible when we were in New York and one evening it was convenient to eat there. There is a good busy atmosphere and the waiting staff could not be more helpful, in particular pointing out that the dishes are for sharing. Notwithstanding approaching ordering with caution, we struggled the large but delicious portions. It... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
