Within a short walk of most theaters and reasonably priced, this restaurant features VERY large portions which are served family style. Two entrees were more than four adults could finish. For non-economic reasons, our party of 4 had no appetizers, alcohol or desserts, and the cost for two entrees before gratuity was a little more than $60. Not the best... More

Went with friends on a recent trip to NYC. It was recommended by friends. A great friendly restaurant with the best sangria I've ever had. We had two pitchers. The meals were great too, especially the linguine with clams and the chuckle with eggplant.

Tony's has been a favorite of mine for as far back as I can remember. Flying out of NYC for my honeymoon I knew this had to be the first stop to kick of the trick. Service is unmatched. Vodka sauce is to die for. They are extremely aware of Celiac's disease and how to safely prepare food. We ate... More

We really enjoyed the food, but if you aren't into family style meals this place isn't for you. While we didn't mind it, it did take some time for us to all agree on what we would share.

Me and my wife booked a 4 day trip to NYC. We were adamant that we would stay away from all the major chains. We found this restaurant while walking from our hotel. And what can i say.... It was amazing, from having no reservation and the weather being wet we were seated within 5 minutes. The waiter was so... More

Took a trip to NYC to see a show. Had dined at Tony's several times in the past but my mother has never had the opportunity. Attempted to make reservations via open table but there was nothing in our time frame. Called the restaurant and they were able to fit our party of 4 in at our desired time. We... More

Restaurant visit was arranged for first evening of our group of solo travellers by our excellent tour company. The amazing food was served family style on large platters for sharing. Portions were large, varied & were everything & more you would expect from a first class Italian restaurant. The restaurant was already busy & "buzzing" when we were shown to... More

Went for dinner for our anniversary here, with a reservation on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly, but did notice that those without reservations had a long wait. Our waitress was a true professional: friendly, knowledgable, attentive and unhurried. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was sad that with only two of us we couldn't justify more of... More

Tony's Di Napoli is in the cream of the crop of Italian restaurants in New York City. Everything is made to order, everything is authentic, everything is so darn tasty and delicious. The family style players are huge and are made to be shared by your entire table, and I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed. The linguine with... More

Had a great meal there with 3 kids and with a very fussy 7.5 year old who polished off his plate. We had 4 plates all being excellent and tasty. Excellent service. Can't say very much except that I have 2 complaints: too noisy and no free soda refills. I think that it is unpatriotic not to give them!

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
