Our family loves Tony's Di Napoli. Food is excellent each time, service is quick, and they don't rush you (despite crowds). Suggest you make a reservation, especially if you are there around the time theater-goers are eating pre-show. Very easy to over-order here - HUGE portions. Servers are friendly and will be honest with you about sizes of portions and... More

We stopped here before a broadway show to eat. The wait even with a reservation was a little long but worth it. This is truly the best Meatballs and Italian sausage we ever had. Its family style so two dishes is enough for 4 people. We had the calamari as an appetizer and authentic cheesecake for desert. Great food and... More

We routinely come to New York for the Holidays. And the first reservation we make is for dinner at Tony's. Great family pasta and meat dishes. It is old school Italian with a fun bustling atmosphere that is perfect for the City. Our favorite for an early dinner before a play on Broadway or dessert following the curtain call.

My son, daughter-in-law and two sons decided to visit us in NYC. They wanted to go to Carmines but we had just been there so I suggested Tony's since I had been there in the past. Smaller than Carmines but very good food and service. The food was fantastic, started off with a Hot Antipasto and Fried Calamari, next Linguini... More

Times Square was packed and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant. We rounded the corner and saw a crowd gathered in front of Tony's. A family of 20 were in front and stopped me to take their picture. I did and asked if their meal was good. Fantastic!!! We then looked at the menu and a cook... More

We wanted to have lunch before going to see a show. We arrived at 11:30am and did not have reservations as many other people arriving at this time did. They were very accommodating and we only waited 5-10 mins to be seated. The food was great. We shared a platter as the menu is family style. The service was excellent.... More

We booked it from advance, make sure you do the same, otherwise it will be difficult to have a table. Me and my wife enjoyed the excellent food served to us. The portions are huge ,you can definitely order one for two or even more. The salmon fillet and the pasta were excellent and the huge Cesar salad also.

Ate here last week. We had a reservation and showed up early and were seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order and then said she was leaving and another server was coming over. ???? She never told us her name so I had to ask her what it was. A man then comes over to take our drink... More

Right in the thick of Times Square, Tony Di Napoli did not disappoint. Had to wait 45 for lunch but it was worth it!! Dishes are for 2-3 people. Dessert large enough for 2. Reasonable prices for NYC. Great atmosphere, a little loud but not too much. Great spot. The Baked ziti bolegnese was incredible. Appetizer of backed clans nailed... More

Traveled 1st time to NYC with family. Was looking for an Italian experience dinner that the family could enjoy and not break the budget. Tony's fit the bill perfect. Great atmosphere. Very old world feel. Ideal if you have teens. The food was good and the service on key. Menu looks expensive at first glance but... Family style dinners so... More

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
