The food was the worst I have ever had bland no taste and expensive ! The chips were under cooked "oven chips" and the burger no sauce just a bland cheap burger and two tiny onion rings oh and a piece of lettuce ! AVOID

We came here for breakfast one morning and I chose the waffle with maple syrup, I enjoyed it so much that i went back that evening to one for pudding. The staff were all lovely

From the outside and the crowd we expected more. The food was OK although really over priced more so than most other restaurants in the area. A sandwich was $20 not including fries or a salad, and if you got a salad, it was a plate of lettuce. Maybe we just caught this at a bad time, but we would... More

I should followed my intuition and run out of that place when one of the staff did not hold the door on my way in. What can go wrong in a dinner, at lunch time? Everything, terrible service, awful food and the worst cheesecakeI ever ate. The cheeseburger looked like cardboard, a simple green salad looked like one out of... More

We were walking by here and saw the board outside offering several items on special for lunch for $16.99 so we stopped in. We were happy with our meals. The specials came with a drink of either coffee/tea or soft drink and a piece of cheesecake (which they are famous for). We received a large portion for the main meal... More

Stopped at the cafe for breakfast as we were walking to Central Park. Whilst the food was fine( slightly over priced even for New York) the service was awful. Also the one hot drink we had was served in a very dirty mug - Won't be going back

Lindy's is a name that was associated with cheesecake and celebrities decades ago. It is still trading on that fame under different management as a tourist trap restaurant in midtown. I came here for breakfast, and was amazed at the prices. $4 for coffee. $14 for plain French toast. $25 after tax and tip. The french toast was fine, and... More

Stopped on the off chance after a long walk in Central Park. Very friendly staff in a great location to watch the world pass by. Amazing sandwiches (I had the pastrami & Corned Beef which was superb). Would recommend this place for a quick bite. The sandwich was so filling had no room for the cheesecake.

Went for dinner with my daughter service was slow to say the least. What annoyed me more was the attitude of the server she snapped at us not once but twice when we asked for drinks them moaned at us the people where being mean to her. I was brought up to respect my elders so held my tongue when... More

as a change from bagels, my partner and i decided to try out something new for our last morning in NYC. i was so excited to experience a proper new york pancake place. first of all, they don't offer any type of cow's milk alternatives (soy / almond mile etc.) and they only give milk in those tiny little cartons... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
