Just across the street from our hotel so thought it would be a good place to go during the recent snow storm We had to wait at least 5 minutes until the 2 barstaff finished their conversation. Our drinks were served but when I asked to start a tab "I've rung it through now". We paid but stayed which was... More

For $25 I thought my fish and chips might be served to me by some Greek god looking servant but alas it was good but not $25 good. My Guinness was $8.00. Being in midtown everyone liked their food but overpriced, even for midtown. My friend's Cesar was drowning in fishy dressing. We had a group of 10 and when... More

My husband and I met for the first time there on April 11, 1986! How can I give it less than 5 stars! The food was great then, the friends were awesome and we've been married now for 28 years!!!

We visit Rosie's each year we are in town and are never disappointed. The bar area is a mix of tourists, locals and office workers creating an eclectic mix and vibe. The restaurant is busy pre-theatre, so unless your off to a show go in after 1930 when it is quieter and calmer. We always opt for a steak as... More

This was an unexpected surpise, since we had stumbled upon this restaurant and had no clue on what to expect. From the outside we were a bit unsure, but it was busy and open late and still serving dinner. We got inside and received great service and had an awesome steak and lobster dinner. Great place to go and have... More

We went here a few times for food and drinks over the space of a week. Decor is beautiful and staff are friendly and interesting. Cocktails are very good. Food was very good- recommend the wings!

My wife & I were in the mood for nachos. They were not on the menu but the bartender said they would make them for us nonetheless. They came with sour cream, guacamole & chicken and were delicious. Good beer too!

After a snowy walk around Central Park we stopped off here on our way back to the hotel. The riendly and lively atmosphere of the bar area spills over into the restaurant giving it a more casual atmosphere. The menu suited me, but I'm no foodie. Some standard UK-style staples- the battered cod I chose was delicious and almost too... More

friendly helpful attentive staff, great atmosphere and amazing food. The steak was the best I have ever had and just melted in your mouth. Highly recommended, and will definitely be going back next time in New York

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
