My husband had noted the restaurant about a block from the Hilton Midtown when he ran an errand while I was in a conference session. After a quick walk to the Grolier Club, we needed supper before another session started and it seemed as good a choice as anything else. To my surprise, it was a comfy, easy-going place. Tiny... Delicious food. From Parmesan topped soft rolls to start to well made expresso with chocolate almond biscotti - really good. Arugula, beet, soft goat cheese and asparagus salad was lightly dressed and perfect. French toast tall & crunchy with really fresh beautiful fruit. Ravioli in a great tomato sauce was delicious. Bagel & salmon platter was well presented, but salmon... More

I used TA to choose this Fabulous restaurant. The good reviews were right on. The pizza has the thinnest crust I've ever seen. Absolutely sensational. The pasta dishes were wonderful. Our apps were calimari and bruschetta samplers and were delish!! The atmosphere was lively and fun and we took advantage of the 2 for 1 wines. Loved the place.

We decided to try out their '$16.00 lunch in 15 minutes' promotion. We should have known better. I ordered soup and mushroom risotto. It came within 15 minutes, great. But the soup came in something a little larger than a ramekin as did the risotto. I couldn't help imagining massive pots of soup and risotto standing in the kitchen waiting... More

We came here for dinner on a recommendation for Christmas and we loved it. It was very busy and the service was not as good as when we had stopped in a few days earlier. The food was really good, the wait wasn't terrible and everyone enjoyed their meal. Beautiful bar with plenty of seating. Bathrooms were very clean.

We stopped into this place yesterday around 9:30 pm. The place was not crowded. Table seating was half full, and the bar had around 10 people including us. We sat at the bar thinking we would get faster service. They had two bartenders serving the bar and tables. It took awhile for one of the bartenders to approach us. We... More

We happened upon this restaurant walking down the street. We liked their sign advertising 2 for 1 martinis. We walked in and were seated squeezed in a long row of small tables. Another diner was then seated right next to us. She could have been part of our party she was so close so there was no privacy. We waited... More

The waiter never checked our table! We tried to order more drinks, and we had to ask again and again where the drinks were! It took over 20 minutes to get 3 cokes!!! The burger was burned and dry, and the pizza was tasteless and not worth the price! The only positive thing about the place was the nice guys... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
