Went here for a quick cheap eat, got carried away with their sushi rolls so not super cheap but so good, standard price for sushi, went back again just for soup and drinks... All under $30 can't go wrong. The desserts are also good, crime brûlée and choc moose our favourites & service was really good, polite fast. 5 stars... More

We were visiting New York for 12 days and ate at this restaurant 4 times. The staff were friendly and the service was quite fast considering they were always busy. We chose different dishes to share each time...they did not disappoint! Highly recommend!!!!!!

Worst service tonight, I come here almost every other week and I am Japanese who lives in NYC. So I think I know what services are supposed to be. I was actually always wandering what kinds mind set someone behind the bar counter have. They seem to be completely lucking of service mindset. Floor staff are good, but while their... More

Laughed when I saw the Japanese vongolese sign but wanted something quick and light. Nice low atmosphere place. Quick efficient wait staff and cooks. Ordered the grilled chicken hearts (good), grilled beef tongue (chewy and hard to eat with chopsticks because of size) and while grilled squid (excellent) washed down with a Sapporo beer. Good, quick, cheap,

We were hungry after a show and craving sushi. This hot the spot. The tuna roll had a large portion of fish and was SO good and I highly recommend the roll that has (oddly) corn and mango in it - delicious!! We also had an order of shrimp dumplings that were really good. Plus it was open until midnight.

The NY theater district is chock-a-block with restaurants, even Japanese restaurants, but the better ones are expensive or worse. Iroha is an exception -- unusual for the neighborhood, a typical sushi bar with a huge reasonably priced menu and one of the best sake choices in midtown, with a large carafe of excellent sake for only $7. The Bento boxes... More

I lived in Japan for 5 yrs and at first felt like the experience was pretty authentic given we're smack downtown in NY. The international staff all enthusiastically try to call out "Irasshaimasse!" which means welcome in Japanese. The menu has Ramune and Curry Ramen (3.00$!!) for kids. So far so good. Then I ordered Ramen... disappointement. It was horrible,... More

Ambience is nice. Definitely not for family plus it only open in the evening. Food is very authentic and delicious. Service is pretty good too. Overall is very good experience. Oh by the way, in writing this review half drunk. If it wasn't for auto correct, it'll look like jshfhejsnakfbeoanzd jabfbeoakNfbbeiegrbt.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
