Don't come here for an egg roll and spare ribs. Home made noodles, King po chicken, twice cooked pork, shrimp with walnuts yes chow mein no. Unattentive staff forces you have to ask for a wine list. Tea also. Good menu but you leave feeling let down

Excellent steamed soup dumpings (w/ and w/o crab), hand-wrapped pork/vegetable potstickers, and amazing stir-fried rice cake dishes where the rice cakes are chewy and do not stick together. Also excellent fresh Chinese vegetables. The appetizer selection includes items not found on standard Chinese menus. Take-out service in mid-town is quite quick and reliable.

Whether for a quick dinner before going to a show or a more elaborate dinner, I have found Tang Pavilion more than satisfactory. They offer an extensive menu and the food is quite tasty and well presented. You will even get a small plate of melons and orange slices at the end of your meal at no charge. The service... More

Just wanted some hot soup to bring back to my hotel. Hot and Sour was $3.25 for a good portion, and was decent but that's about it. They did bring it out immediately.

All the food was pretty good. Just standard chinese fare. Can't really think of any dish that really stood out in my mind but it was a decent meal overall.

Great food for takeaway or sit in while on a short trip to NYC. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely retire if I was back in the locality.

Charge higher price for average food. Chinatown choices probaby give better food at less cost. Ate here because it was convenient location such as Broadway show. They do not provide wi-fi.

I went with several people and found the food to be fair. We each ordered a different dish and shared. I was not impressed with the food. Manhattan has great Chinese restaurants, however this was not one of them.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
