Came in for some quick appetizers - wings, chicken fingers, moz sticks - and some beers. Was NOT expecting fancy dining but overall it was all pretty good. The wings did NOT seem frozen - a good sign - and the rest of the typical fare was all acceptable. The service was attentive, the energy in the pub was lively... More

The service was very friendly and fast! My bangers and mash was on the table 10 minutes after I ordered. Nice, dark atmosphere, great mixed drinks, and my dinner was fantastic. Will visit again if in the area.

Dropped in for lunch, nice ambience, easy vibe. Menu Irish themed with stews and burgers and sandwiches. Staff friendly and service reasonably fast. Prices mid range but portions good and food quality and presentation good.

After seeing a show at MSG, my mom and I were starving and wanted to get dinner somewhere close. We were staying on 31st street so we looked up places near us/the stadium. We stumbled upon triple crown since it was close and it was freezing out so we figured since they were open we would try it. The place... More

There's so many better bars in the city. This is a weird neighborhood exemplified by this bar. Has no character. Staff are a bit grumpy. Keep walking south on 7th to find better bars.

Good: they have Guinness! Quiet- no one in the pub. Bad- how can you make an "average" burger poorly? Chewy burnt bacon. Nice bun, wilted lettuce, thin slice of tomato and onion. I asked for fries crispy. Really? That's crispy? Should be able to do better than mcd's. Not worth $45 for a hamburger, a sandwich and 1 beer. Waitress?... More

If you're Irish, or not, but want to experience a little bit of Ireland drop into Triple Crown of 7th Ave. NYC. A quiet drink, a nice meal, some comedy downstairs - whatever takes your fancy. Many of the staff are Irish but there is a good mix. Seek out Kevin from Dublin or Graeme if you want a good... More

We liked the ribs so much we had to come back for the second time as we tried at some other place and it wasn't good as theirs. I would recommend them to work on customer service skills, but I guest they don't care as 18% service charge already included in the bill. Overall not bad!

As a bar/restaurant, the Triple Crown is nothing more than average, but when you go down to the Triple Grown Underground, you'll find it's so much more. With a jam packed schedule of improv and other comedy shows, this bar has become somewhat of a haven for the indie comedy community in NYC.
