Great value and real Irish American pub, close to Central Park on 7th Avenue. Good food and great pint in an area that can easily see you overcharged. Highly recommend for good wholesome food and a variety of fraught beers.

We stopped by here for a quick drink after walking round the park, and ended up staying for the afternoon. The service was great, so welcoming, we really felt at home. The drinks were plentiful and the food great as well, we'll be back for sure.

Stopped here on the way to Times Square. Had a few ice cold beers and me and fiancé had steak sandwiches. They were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Great little stop!

Visited in a group of 6 friends. Bar was really busy, staff made a table up for us..... we stayed for about 3 hours. They never let the glasses go dry, really good steaks, burgers and steak salad. 80's/ 90's music. Thanks for a great night.

Loved the food hear sampled the steak sandwich cottage pie and the steak all very tasty and tender meat. Staff are lovely Kate especially welcoming. This became our temporary local in uptown Manhattan. If you gave a small appetite share a meal as portions are generous.

Small but quaint. The food was delicious. However, two people can share a plate. Servings are large. A couple of blocks from Central Park for a nice walk afterwards.

Enjoyable break from walking around. 2 for 1 Happy Hour is always nice, too. The bartenders were friendly and poured a nice, strong drink. Looked like a lot of locals that day. Enjoyable place to go.

Found this little gem while strolling back to our hotel from Central Park. My kids and I had the daily special and sandwiches. Everyone thought it was great. Went back the next day for dinner with the hubby. We visit NY every couple of months for business and this place is on our "places to eat in NY" list.

Visited PJ Carneys on a recent Saturday afternoon with my wife. Great service and food was awesome. Prices are very reasonable for being in the heart of the city.Came in here over twenty years ago with my late Dad and I can still remember him saying how it was what a tavern was supposed to be. Well, the owners have... More

Visited for dinner during our trip to nyc. Food was terrible, ordered fish & chips which was inedible. Pointed out to server when she eventually returned & she decided to argue over our complaint. Very rude member of staff & we would never visit there again

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
