I happened upon this restaurant in the West Village as I was walking in the intense heat of a July early eve. Outdoor tables were available where I could catch a nice breeze so I decided I had walked enough and it was time to eat. Well I'm glad I did because this was a pleasant surprise. The food was... I dined on their excellent pancakes during an early morning sojourn in the West Village. It was nice and quiet inside the "Bus Stop" and I was able to read, and enjoy, my Sunday newspaper. My efficient waiter was quick to fill my coffee cup without being asked. The few other patrons welcomed me with a cheerful "Good morning!" Who... More

Stopped here today for breakfast and coffee. Chose the BLT with avacado that was so delicious. It kept me going until lunch early afternoon! The waiters were very sweet and lined after me well and the location is superb for the Village, the Meatpacking District and Soho. Highly recommended.

If you just want a good meal with good friends without any additional hassle this is the place. Great atmosphere, good service and good food is what you get. Price level is fair as well.

Solid menu, tasty specials and top notch service made this little cafe our go to for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is strong and good and served in old school diner cups. We were staying just around the corner for a fabulous NY holiday and were so glad to find this reasonably priced cafe. We'll see you next time we're... More

Although small, the food is good, the price fits the location and the service is very good. The waiters pay attention to you and sometimes chat with you as well

We stopped here for lunch and this place did not disappoint. The service was polite, quirky and quick. There are a # of choices on the menu, and we got 2 to share since we couldn't decide what to order. Very good food. Very good service. Cute, clean place. GO!!!

We were looking for a cute breakfast place in the area and picked this one based on Trip Advisor. It was small but busy and very quaint. Food was excellent. Service was great. Seemed to be family owned by a Greek family. Really cute section of NY. You almost forget you're in Manhattan.

This is a great place for a quick bite if you want a burger or salad. The food is reasonably priced and the quality is excellent. Service was very good and the bill was very reasonable.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
