We stopped off here by chance on our first morning back in NYC and I was sooooo glad. The decor is really beautiful. Great old style feel 'bus seat' booths and wood panelling. Stunning floor to ceiling windows that flooded in warm light on a crispy winter morning. They were traditional in style and looked to open out in summer... More

Good Food, and friendly Staff. Went in for dinner as it was the first restaurant found during a terrain. Worth the risk.

This place is a tradition serving great breakfast in the morning. Staff is friendly and the customers are a good mix between locals and some visitors. Easy going and great outdoor seating when it is warm.

Great location, nice friendly service and delicious meal. We had brunch here and we both ordered the bagel spread. Delicious fresh lox, Creme cheese, capers .... the works!

Good range of hearty snacks and meal at good prices. The booths are great. Good people watching spot. Great breakfasts and lunches. Mimosas and beers. Friendly service. Lovely in summer to sit on the sidewalk and cosy in winter. Excellent sandwiches and soups.

A coat little place. The food is average. It seems to attract the local crowd. The food is average. The best thing about this place is that it is open 24 hours. So if you are stuck or jetty lagged and you are in the area it's the best if what is open 24 hours

If I'm in NY I always make a point of heading down to this West Village breakfast haunt. My definition of summer is sitting in the Bus Stop, shutters open, sipping a coffee and watching the world revolve around outside. You can't beat it. It's heaven with a coffee cup.

We always eat our breakfast here when we're visiting NYC. The location is perfect and the omelets are so good. The staff is great as well. You won't be dissapointed.

Came across this place by chance on our walk to Greenwich Village and what a great place it turned out to be! It's very small and the atmosphere is busy and lively but still feels intimate. The food we ordered was superb and the service fantastic. So many attentive staff serving us, topping up our waters and refilling tea and... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
