It's people like Frank who make places like the Waldorf, my wife and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary here and we keep coming back every year, everyone makes you feel welcome and all the bar tenders are great but ask for Irish Frank and ask for a Franktini!!

Dropped in our first night in town for drinks ... the 3 of us ordered drinks in which we had complementary vouchers for, the service was lovely and professional. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.

Great bar and restaurant. Bar staff were helpful and chatty without being too intrusive. Great choice of quality drinks including great champagne by the glass. A must if you're near by

Last June 12, after attending Saint Patrick's Cathedral 12:00 AM solemn mass, we headed to "Peacock Alley", at iconic "The Waldorf Astoria Hotel". Venues, flavors and lovely memories to take home. At the "Peacock Alley", with its beautiful and inspired décor, we enjoyed New York's Nr. 1 Sunday Brunch. Impressive setting, wonderful variety of cold and warm plates and, of... More

My granddaughter and I went to Peacock Alley for breakfast. The eggs Benedict with the Nova Scotia salmon is heavenly. Pancakes scrumptious. Big KUDOS to the Chef and Staff for the extra care they gave us. It reminds me why going to the Waldorf is a family tradition.

And the best Chocolatini! It's quite relaxing to sit at the bar and watch NYC travel by. Located in the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, it's hard not to feel like you've stepped back in time here.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
