This is my favorite place to eat. How I found this restaurant was we didn't know where to go to eat. We seen the line to get into Taste Of Seafood & smelled the good aroma so we decided to give it a try. I ordered whitening, mac & cheese, & yams. I almost fell over when I tasted the... More

The fish was outstanding, as were the sides, and the desserts. The service was great, and the wait not long.

I love the fried fish from A Taste of Seafood, although it was a little bit saltier than I remember during my last visit. The collards greens and potato salad are delicious. I have been visiting Taste for the time it was a little hole in the wall restaurant and continue going now that it has expanded to its new... More

My husband and I traveled from Houston today and since I'm from the New England area the first thing I wanted for lunch was seafood (it's just not the same in the southwest). My husband did his homework and found this little gem. I will be honest when I first walked in I was ready to walk out. The place... More

The food here is amazing, and usually very tasty. They specialize in fried seafood and fry your meal to order. This causes a looooooong wait and what will first seem like poor service when you walk in and see one long single file line. The wait is well worth it, because your order will be hot and customized however you... More

8/1/14 My husband and I stopped by on a early Friday evening to this store front eatery and of course the line was almost out the front door (needless to say we waited an hour for our food). Being from the 'burbs' we are use to long wait times on a week end evening but this was a bit ridiculous.... More

I ate at this restaurant and had fried whiting with French fries and yams. The fish was great and the yams were very good. The price was reasonable. Not a place for atmosphere but excellent. A friend had seared salmon and she loved it. She also had collard greens and peach cobbler. Both were very good. I would eat here... More

It took me a while to find this place and I thought it was closed down so I went to a fish and chip shop over the road!! I asked someone in the fish and chip were it was and he said opposite but by that time my partner had eaten!!! I was the lucky one!! The menu is large... More

We take the subway from the village to Harlem for the soul food here. We have tried Sylvia's and Manna's and always come back to Taste of Seafood. Food is great. Catfish is seasoned perfectly and batter is light and crispy. Best collard greens, okra and mac and cheese around and the sweet tea is perfect. Definitely finish your dinner... More

I don't stop by as often as I'd like because the line is always long. But that's a good thing. The food tasty and always hot. It's probably the best place in Harlem for friend seafood, especially for take away.
