We pulled up and was not impressed with the outside, but it is a hidden jewel. The menu had a variety of things and a great place to eat and watch the game. It was six of us and we all ordered different things and was not disappointed. The portions of food are huge and you definitely get your money's... More

I visited Harlem BBQ after a shopping trip in Harlem with a friend and after reading great trip advisor reviews on this place I am so delighted to say that this spot met all expectations! Not only was the ambience great ( the spot was playing great old school tunes and filled with young African American professionals ), the food... More

The first time I went to Harlem BBQ was with my niece Tasha. She recommended the catfish nuggets but I don't usually like to order something I never tried before so I order the fried chicken wings and she ordered the catfish nuggets. When the food came and I tried her catfish nuggets, I was so mad that I didn't... More

We ate here before catching a show at the Apollo Theater. The catfish bites and chicken skewers were good. The cornbread was tasty but the collard greens were just okay. The server was attentive but the gratuity was included (for only two people).

Stopped in for a quick "something" before an event and it was so good we went back afterwards. Staff was friendly and meals were very tasty.

My daughter and I walked into Harlem BBQ short on time. The server took our order promptly and within seven minutes my plate of BBQ ribs and my daughters catfish sandwich arrived. They were both excellent. The half rack of ribs was thick and meaty and came with two sides. I had cole slaw and mixed vegetables -- both were... More

My experience was that it took 40 minutes for some burguers. Food is ok, must get better on service. Price is ok.

Be warned: Saturday evening -- the noise level was ridiculous -- painful -- people shouting at the top of their voices. Also be warned: THEY ADD A 15% TIP TO YOUR BILL -- THEN WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR CARD, THEY RETURN YOUR BILL TO SIGN WITH JUST THE TOTAL AND A SPACE FOR A TIP. VERY DISHONEST -- IF YOU... More

My friend who lives here heard about this new place and decided he would take me here on a date night. I LOVED it! I'm from Houston and their cornbread reminded me of home. Not to mention the drinks! I loved loved loved the drinks, the bartenders were really nice and the food was AMAZING!
