Good location and you will enjoy not only the traditional taste but the environment too. This is in the main place not much crowded. Chicken fillet is my favourate item with fries.

Tiny little subway. It's like it was designed for hobbits. I was here during the lunch rush but service was quick and it needed to be as there was a big line. I'm sure you've all been to subway and know the score. Pick a sandwich and then customise the toppings etc. I had a good meatball sub there and... More

Very hot in summer until you hit the well air conditioned trains. Watch your steps. New Yorkers of all ages move briskly. Keep your hands on the rails if unsure of your footing. Stay near walls if hesitant. Ask if confused...most New Yorkers are very friendly and happy to help visitors.

I buy a 6-inch sub (in the Midwest it's a submarine sandwich, in New York City it's a hero) from this Subway two or three times a week. It's the only Subway I go to, so I can't compare it to others, but I find the service here very fast and efficient. Even at the lunch rush (12:30 p.m. or... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
