Because of all the good reviews we wanted to eat here on our first morning in the City. The time was appx 8 am, and the door was open. As I opened it a man that appeared to be the manager told us in a rather rude manner, that they were not open yet, and before I managed to ask,... More

We enjoyed our visit and had an outstanding omelet and french toast. The strawberry butter and buttermilk biscuits were excellent! My wife ordered the bloody mary and that was the perfect additional touch. The only negative was that the service while friendly was not attentive and we had to remind them of several items they missed.

The coffee is just okay. The portions are huge-especially the pancakes. The turkey sausage tasted like cardboard and had almost no taste at all. In NYC you can probably do better.

The food was nice, and fairly priced. And the portions were certainly big! There was however an overall sense of it being a little disorganised with regards to being seated and our order being taken etc. The person who seated us was nice enough but the waiter who brought our food was a little blunt, didn't really say much. Anyway,... More

OK, this place is known for it's Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Brunches. Imagine this scenario; Your friends come in from out of town. They want a place that's typically Upper West Side, unusual and popular. So we're all in queue from 8:30 till 9 o'clock waiting for the doors to be unlocked. We're at the beginning of the 50 person... More

Came for dinner mid-week, we hadn't been here for a couple of years since it was on Amsterdam Ave, but the food was as good as we remembered. Everything is made in house. Even the table bread is amazing! It's not terribly expensive either! The wine made our bill higher, but for the 3 of us to eat was not... More

Loved the Bloody Mary with a thick slice of bacon. Had the poached egg with dill-onion toast - unique selection. Very good. My friend had the homemade biscuits with strawberry butter - awesome.

We came here to try out a usual american breakfast, we got just that. The food is not very tasty but that's what you get for a cheaper meal.

Visited this place for brunch for the first time this weekend. Had high hopes based on the line and some online reviews. Server was lovely, restaurant in general is cute but very slow to turn tables (hence the wait?) and waiting in line for half an hour in the height of summer was probably not the best time to try... Spoiled for choice for breakfast but could not go past the bacon waffles - amazing!! Best bacon waffles I have ever eaten - crispy with small bacon pieces cooked in, little bowl of fruit on the side. Great iced latte as well - perfect for summer! My husband had the pancakes and they were light and fluffy. Funky decor and... More
