Went here with a few colleagues for a drink beforehand and then dinner. This place is nicely lit, with a wonderful wine list, and plenty of shareable delights. We had the meat platter, cheese platter, a few salads, some pizzas, and some pastas. I came here about five years ago, and it is still a great place for a date... More

Otto is casual and comfortable with great food. We ordered four small appetizers for the table and each had a pasta. Everyone enjoyed their food. Also had 2 gelato desserts which are phenomenal! Service was great! Favorite place in NYC

This was recommended to us by a friend, so we made a reservation for dinner for our family of 2 adults and 3 teens. It had been a long day with a lot of walking, so we were all very hungry (and therefore everything was bound to taste good). Nice atmosphere but quite crowded and loud. Waitstaff seems to try... This Mario Batali eatery was a pleasant surprise, hidden in the corners of New York's establish West village neighborhood. The best carbonara I have ever tasted. The family friendly eatery has prices that competes with Olive Garden, yet food and service was that of a Michelin star restaurant. The host was pleasant and accommodated me and my guest quickly although... More

Have heard such great things about Otto but left disappointed after this visit. Ordered the honey and goat cheese pizza which was decent and then the Norma pasta which was disappointing. The ricotta on top was cold, which I understand may speak to the freshness of the cheese but it made the whole dish seem cold. The wait staff weren't... More

We recently celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday with a dinner at Otto's. We were there on a Friday evening with five adults and five children. We had a reservation and they seated us as soon as we arrived. The service was excellent and they accommodated the needs of the children. The adults had excellent pasta dishes and three of my... The prosciutto was really good, but the carbonnara pasta was disgusting. The sauce was too salty and disappointing. I understand the portion was little for the price, but it was not good at all. Also, the pizza crust is thin as a paper sheet! It's ridiculous !

Sweet and salty, crisp and chewy. Thin crust. Also ordered the pizza with tomatoes, cheese and basil. Delicious!

We arrived on an evening and the restaurant was very busy. We got on a waiting list, but found a pair of seats at the bar. The bartender was very attentive, and efficient with our drinks and order. We had appetizers, pizza and some wonderful wine. The prices were excellent. I will definitely return.

Pizzas are delicious and really crispy and thin. Wine list is very good. Try cassio y peppe with a Brunello.
