We ate here last week and had a good experience. Good comfort food and staples of salads, burgers, chicken, etc. They said one of the best beer selections in NYC but we didn't have any. Fun and a block away from TImes Square.

Really enjoyed the food, especially the fried pickles and the steak salad Service could have been better though. I think the problem was that our table was far from the server's other tables

Went here on a Friday night at 6pm and got a seat, by 6.30 I reckon the place seemed packed. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. I got the fish tacos which were great and the beer was one of the breweries own and was fantastic (and I'm not even that passionate about beer usually). Was just visiting NYC but... More

Excellent food! Reasonably priced, but must like microbrews if you want to drink beer. Very good service and value for the location.

Reasonable price, drinks reasonable price or at least beer is. Had Nachos they were nothing special the chill tasted BBQ and chicken tortilla soup was just okay, both were not hot more like Luke warm. Would I come back? Maybe for a beer. Waiter was nice but indecisive with recommendations.

Modest price considering the Resturant is close to the Empire State building on 34th and 5th Ave. Good service. Good selection and entertaining space. Don't over anticipate a special meal then you won't be disappointed.

Service was good. Drinks made correctly. Food really good. A great place to stop before taking in a Broadway Show. Seems like a good spot to gather and hang. I suspect they get a good crowd after the show.

Description
One of the few casual chophouses in the Times Square area, this Heartland Brewery combines the rich character of a steakhouse from yesteryear with a modern restaurant sensibility. In addition to a beer-friendly menu specializing in Black Angus beef, you'll find a museum quality collection of pre-Prohibition beer artifacts, including back-bar sculptures, trays, and photographs. Three spacious private dining rooms, all of which have their own separate bars, are available for parties.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
