I loved this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Our group was ready to get away from the more touristy areas of New York and we found this restaurant while walking and exploring. Breakfast is served all day which is a plus with me.

Always love this place for brunch. on this visit I had the burger for the first time. It is on a bun that has been made into French toast and comes with bacon and a fried egg on top. It may sound odd, but it is absolutely delicious.

What more can I say? Ideal location and the food was very good, only downside was we were a large sized group and we were put upstairs away from the main 'buzz' manager came up to welcome us and all staff were very pleasant. Taxi ride back to the hotel was an experience, we'll just call it techno 😊 Probably... More

The is one of our favorite Brunch Spots of all time! My husband and I have been going to French Roast for years! The Croque Madame and Eggs Benedict with Mochas and fresh squeezed orange juice are a must TRY.

I liked the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. I sat by the window, overlooking the street.

Ate breakfast at French Roast twice. Friendly service and big portions, but the eggs florentine were disappointing. I had requested that the eggs be poached soft, but they were almost fully hard cooked. Egg dishes are accompanied by a heaping side of breakfast potatoes, and, oddly, a salad. The second time I had just a bagel, which was fine and... More

This restaurant has the French theme: small tables, French sales placards and a menu inspired by French dishes. It reminded me of the "Irish pub in a box" places that take the crap on the wall just a little too far. The food is ok - the hanger steak was tough but tolerably so. It was not cheap so that...
