Went in for dinner without reservations Sat night and had no trouble seating. Staff is very gracious and attentive. Always filling up water glasses, and checking in. Menu was primarily traditional Italian, but very good and large portions. Two of us shared mushroom risotto as an appetiser - enough for 3 or even 4. Fantastic. Enough chicken parmesan and francese... More

The new owners of trattoria Pesce Pasta have kept the name but not the menu.We have been going here for 14 years Christmas eve for traditional fish dinner What a disappointment!Limited fish menu, overpriced no antipasto table all in all a disappointment These new owners won't last. The food is always good at Pesce Pasta and the service is friendly. Basic menu (I wish they had gluten-free options) with fish specialties. Good wine, nice bar. No complaints!

I come here often with my son in nice weather so we can enjoy the outdoor seating - we love it. We often order the skirt steak; it's one of our favorites. During the evening a live jazz band plays adding the great ambience of the place.

I had the thick and tasty minestrone and the chicken (Roman style with artichoke hearts and sliced red peppers ) with broccoli. They were both good. My wife enjoyed her artichoke heart appetiser and the eggplant parmigiana was delicious. My daughter found the pasta with shrimps a bit oily. Overall excellent service.

Excellent fish and Homade pasta that is made in house for all their 5 restaurants including 3 on 46th st in the Theather district. La Rivista, Broadway Joes, and La Finestra. They have a Hugh selection of fresh vegetable antiipasta . Great Apple Martini's & carafes of Sanfria with fruit and red and white wines. Very busy restaurant that also... More

Pesce Pasta Trattoria is a great "homey" restaurant and I think one of the best Italians on the UWS. The service is warm and attentive and the menu is great. There is a great antipasti selection, very broad menu selection and a good wine list. I'm not a dessert eater but the tiramisu and cannolis are not to be missed.

Ok, let's get right to the point: The food here is good, if a bit old-fashioned. That can work if you want old-line Italian comfort food. And, again, the food is good; the seafood risotto special was absolutely delicious. But the restaurant seems oddly trapped in a 20th century vibe, without any self-awareness that could improve the place. First, don't... More

After roaming Central Park on a beautiful autumn day, we were looking for lunch and trip advisor lead us to this nice Italian spot. We had traditional pasta dishes which were large in portions and freshly cooked. Good wine selections and a good view of sidewalk activity. Nice find.

pesce pasta trattoria feels like a authentic and basic italian oase in the bustle of nyc. don't expect culinary masterpieces. it's just good food made by good people. we've visit it five times during five different visitings of nyc. it was always a pleasure to enjoy this friendly trattoria.
