Had to visit this place, yes it's pricey but it's just so pretty overlooking the park. We had the risotto, yes it was intense but it really was delicious. The staff were accommodating and for once we didn't feel like we were rushed to eat our meals and leave. Would go back again.

Had dinner with a business associate and was less than impressed! I had a reservation and was still treated like they had no idea who I was. The service was SLOW and when the waiter finally arrived - he was very unimpressed that we didn't order alcohol. The food was good but nothing to write home about..... I've had better... More

We had our wedding reception for 150 people at Bryant Park Grill and it was literally the perfect venue. We bought out the restaurant - cocktail hour on the roof, dinner in the tented garden, dancing and dessert inside the grill. Guests were blown away by the location - you are literally in the heart of New York City -... More

Great spot for a light lunch before heading to a show or museum, or perfect spot for dinner before heading back to Tarrytown after a day in the City. Interesting menu. Never disappointed. Service is excellent. And we usually eat outside to enjoy the vibe of the City. A short walk from Grand Central. One of my favorites in the... More

Try to reserve a window seat to enjoy people watching and the iconic Bryant Park view. We were there in summer, but clearly it would be spectacular year-round. If you are not overly hungry, the appetizers are proportioned well to make a meal when shared or paired with a soup or salad. The waiter seemed eager to move us along,... More

On a July Sunday, we asked the bellman at the Algonquin for a recommendation for a non-fussy Sunday brunch where we wouldn't need reservations. He unhesitatingly and enthusiastically recommended the Bryant Park Grill, which runs along the back of the New York Public Library, and overlooks the beautiful (real, human) space that is Bryant Park. On this beautiful day, a... More

Every time I have eaten at the indoor dining space at Bryant Park Grill, I get the vague impression that I smell bad. No one is directly rude, in fact the service is impeccably attentive and thorough. Eye contact, tone of voice, and body language, though, distinctly communicate "Oh. It's you." That said, I have been a dozen times and... More

I think the header says it all. The place serves good food, but, the noise is just crazy! It's barely (not?!) possible to speak to your friends on the table due to the high noise in the dining room. Service is not up to par, barely 3/5. TripAdvisor state price is medium, I would say medium plus.

I'm in NYC a couple of times a month and because it's convenient and in a good location I always stop here. I went here for dinner and sat on the roof yesterday and got the rose and a chicken Cobb salad. Fun atmosphere and good salad. Tonight I went to the outdoor area to the left of the grill... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
