This is a great little Italian restaurant to come in for lunch or dinner. The entrees are priced right and the atmosphere is casually elegant. We had dinner here with friends and enjoyed a wonderful meal.

I have to agree with other reviews about how this place lures you in thinking the food is good because it looks busy - nope! The food was decent and very expensive. The service is slow and you seem to have to repeat drink orders several time before the waiter understands.

We were looking for some good Italian food in Little Italy. After speaking with the matre'di we decided to eat here. Service was VERY slow. Food was good, but only one of four entrees was hot.....others were warm to lukewarm....it appeared the dishes had been sitting in the kitchen for a while before our waiter picked them up to bring... This is quite a large restaurant and looked fairly busy, which is usually a sign of a good food, how wrong can you be. We ordered Bruschetta for starters, I can't be sure where the chef was trained but I don't think it was by an Italian. It came as to thick slices of bread (not toasted) with some chopped... More

I think this maybe the worst restaurant I have ever been to! The waiter was untidy and rude. The food was awful. On top of that they added 20% tip to the bill. I asked for black pepper and I was given a bowl of Chilli..... I wish I had looked at Trip Advisor before going to this place, then... More

I have been to several restaurants in Little Italy and this is by far the worst place. Just a dirty place with below average food, bad service and the infamous 18% gratuity added regardless of party size. How this place is still in business is beyond logic.

We recently went here because the restaurant across the street was closed. I had the calamari for starters. It was good and the dipping sauce was light. I followed that up with veal parmesan. Although it was not on the menu, they made it for me. This was very nicely done. The sauce was not overly salty as is true... More

Service subpar. Chicken drowning in cream with no flavour. Worst of all was the "fresh green vegetables" it came with. Broccoli was almost white due to length of time it was cooked for.

This restaurant is a scam for tourists. After ordering and waiting more than 20 minutes a poor bruschetta that is not even arrived. We left and fortunately... after seeing the reviews here!

Service and food was about what you would expect from a pizzeria/restaurant. It was good Born and raised in NY I was surprised to see an 18% service charge on the tab when I got it When I questioned the waiter his reply was it's a normal service charge in NY. I informed him I wasn't a tourist, my friends... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
