We attended grand central station and wanted some lunch, having seen the reviews of this pizza place I looked for it only to find the shop boarded up and a sign saying " sorry, we have left New York" and a new restaurant being opened soon in its place.

This is the cheapest eat at Grand Central. Many of the good pizzas are sold out my lunch. They warm it nice and give it to you. Lines can be long during rush hours. Two slices and you would be okay. I've tried the bayou and bacon pizzas and the meat, the latter definitely takes the prize. For a quick... More

Considering this is a chain and in Grand Central - it was good and well above average. Prices are reasonable and service was fast and friendly.

I would never recommend a chain restaurant in the city, but this place dishes out some unique and tasty pie. The Bayou beast is very tasty, albeit over powering. The "Newman" is also tasty. I give it 4 stars for creativity and taste, but you still can't beat a city slice from just about anywhere in NYC. Worth the stop... More

We stopped here during the afternoon between the lunch and dinner rush so got a table straight away. Service was quick and friendly, food good but not outstanding although reasonable and plentiful so fine for a pit stop before carrying on with the crowd battle

We went here for a spot of lunch. I had the jambalaya and my wife had a pizza. The jambalaya was excellent but the pizza was just OK. It was reasonably priced and the service was good. I am not sure if it was the lack of windows or how busy it was but it did seem a bit cramped.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
