This is where I take all my visitors and Johns has never let me down. Great pizza without the long lines or hefty tourist prices of some other places.

Came here last Easter with my girlfriend on a friend’s recommendation. Great quality pizza, friendly service and they don’t leave you waiting long. The portions are large so think how hungry you are before ordering! We went after a long walk and left very well...More

in my opinion its the quintessential place to go for Pizza in Manhattan. 2 large - 1 plain (the classic) and 1 with meaty bits and bobs - more than enough for 4. After a short queue, was nice to get in from the snow,...More

Visited recently and found it to be nice but not great although the meatballs were delicious! The pizza was good but I wouldn't be rushing back as Joe's is in the vicinity.

After visiting Eataly and Chelsea Market we walked in to the village in search of John’s for lunch. 6 of us seated straight away in a packed, and tiny, pizzeria. Ordered 2 pies between us, tomato and basil and meatballs, pepperoni and sausage. The tomato...More

My kids wanted to try NYC pizza. John's was recommended to us by a friend who used to live in the city, so we had to try it out. Loved the pizza-thin, crispy crust with fresh ingredients. We loved the charm of the restaurant...nothing fancy,...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

John's of Bleecker Street is a historic pizzeria founded in 1929 by Italian immigrant John Sasso. It serves quintessentially New York coal-fired pizza, famous for its perfect brick-oven baked crust and zesty tomato sauce. John's is still family owned and operated, and boasts such celebrities as Conan O'Brien, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Danny DeVito. In 2016, it was voted #2 in America in the nationwide poll conducted by MSN.
