The restaurant is huge and has some beautiful architectural details. The pizza, Caesar salad & garlic bread is absolutely delicious. There are lots of tables and it is usually very busy but the service is excellent. A great stop before or after a play in the area. Great spot for people watching!

The place is a couple of subway rides from Times Square. Long story short the pizza was very good. I have to downgrade the rating though because of the price of the toppings. $4 dollars a pop. The most expensive topping selection I have encountered. Service was decent. Pizza presentation very good and taste just as good as it looks... More

From the outside it looks small, but the NY gem is a treat. Opens up to a big restaurant which was so busy! We got seated quickly, with good service and an incredible pizza!!

My wife and I shared a large margarita with pepperoni. It was huge but we couldn't stop eating. This was hands down the best pizza we have ever had. Of course the atmosphere and being in NYC contributed.

Went last night as family of 4. Busy but served & food came quickly. As you customise your pizzas, we had 2 large with different toppings on each half to please us all. Thin but crispy crusts & tasty toppings. Good atmosphere & reasonable prices for NY. Def recommend.

The place buzzes with laughter and noise. It is very busy and there is often a wait for a table. There is a great choice of pizzas and different sizes an be chosen. It is ante best to share. The food is delicious. We visited twice. Well worth a visit. Service can be a bit slow but worth the wait.

Our tour guide recommended this as a real New York treat. It had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it! The pizza was delicious

Went to johns in Greenwich village. The sausage was tasty, you could taste the fennel seeds. Crispy crust with wood burned crust. Place is small and hot. Try a salad with your pizza crisp cool and refreshing. Large pizza barely served three adults. Secs were big.. Cheese only was ok as were pepperoni. Try the sausage and your favorite veggies!

You are visiting York and probably taking a tour of downtown Manhattan and area and you are like "where can I go for pizza". Don't be fooled and don't hesitate get to John's on Bleeker. Funky, artsy and great pizza. Yes toppings are $4 each (comes with cheese and sauce) but 3 or 4 toppings and you have Boston Pizza... More

We got here right at eleven, which was perfect because there wasn't yet a crowd. The salad was perfectly fresh, chock full of veggies and dressed with a nice vinaigrette. The pizza was phenomenal. Perfect size, crust, sauce, etc. Everything you dream about when in NYC. Will be back!

Thank Mary M

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
