Sausage, sausage, sausage and more sausage. Hardly any fat whether it's boiled, broiled, grilled, baked, sautéed or cooked over an open campfire. If boiled you won't have all that disgusting scum rising to the top of your pot. It's just delicious premium pork. While you're in the store, don't overlook the pork chops, they're moist and tender when cooked even... More

Faicco's is a great stop if your in SoHo. A true mom and pop place with a neighborhood feel. I tried two of their signature sandwiches and they were both spot on. It is worth a stop if your in the neighborhood.

Love going here for home made sausage, lard bread, veal dishes, pork dishes, lamb and chicken dishes plus an amazing collection of deli and cheeses that defy your mind. They have frozen desserts. Home made breads and a tremendous collection of pasta. This and their brooklyn store. Are the utmost Italian delis around. Once you try it you will be... More

On Bleecker Street since 1900 Faicco's is one of the last authentic Italian food stores in the Village. You can find Scungilli (conch), Tripe, great Italian Sausage, Pork Loin, cold cuts & other specialty meats & grocery that are increasingly hard to find. The 'boys' who work in Faicco's are knowledgeable & helpful. I hope they stay open for another... More

Finally had the chance to visit Faicco's (it's only been here 100+years). It is everything and more that people say, as a pork store the wide selection of meats are beautifully displayed. The extras are devine, the legendary rice balls are as advertised crunchy and creamy all at the same time, fried ravioli..Wow!! The hero sandwiches have been known to... More

We couldn't pass up the chance to try Fiacco's since it came highly recommended. We only tried an Italian Rice Ball, but found it to be very good (chees filling, not tomato based)

No way I could eat an entire Faicco's meat sandwich in one sitting. My sandwich had mounds of thinly-sliced rare roast beef on a freshly-baked roll for 10 bucks. That thing must have weighted 5 pounds. I'm planning to live off of it for the next few days.

I tried both the Italian special and chicken parm baguette. I wouldn't recommend the chicken parm but the Italian special is out of this world!!! It is HUGE and just absolutely delicious.

Stopped here after a food tour. So many great meats. Got some prosciutto and rare roast beef for home, so good. The Arancini we had during the tour was great!

This place was the most hyped stop during my NYC trip. I'm happy to say it exceeded my expectations. The joint was crowded, but they had a large crew of people ready to help behind the counter. Less than 5 minutes after yelling my order, a massive sandwich loaded with amazing meats and cheeses was in my possession. I wandered... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
