We had dinner on the Sunday night during our stay earlier this month. The B&B has not changed since I first started going there when I worked in mid-town in the mid-90s. You are spoiled for choice for both the starters and mains. I had the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and the evening special prime rib. Unfortunately even with an end... More

My now-husband and I dined here on the evening he proposed while staying at the Waldorf and it could not have been better. The lighting added to the romantic and intimate feel of the restaurant and the food was second to none. I was enchanted by the decor and the bar in the centre was an eye-catching focal point. My... This is old world fine pub dining at its best. Dinner was perfectly cooked and presented. The breakfast buffet had excellent choices and delicious omelettes. The prices are high but the food and service were worth it.

A classic New York, old school, Wall Street (its in Midtown) feel bar within the Waldorf. All of the staff there are very engaging but I had a multi-night stay and each night Edmond waited on me and what a friendly, enjoyable waiter- top notch!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this classic standard at the Waldorf Astoria. The Bull and Bear was fabulous, we enjoyed steaks and martinis in historical restaurant. The wait staff and the management were excellent. The restaurant space has been remodeled several times since the 60's, but it is today classic and most comfortable. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We came in for a pre-theatre dinner and had a great experience. The host seated us in a very nice spot, the waiter was attentive yet watching from a distance and anticipating things. Menu offered delicious choices - steaks are done to perfection and seafood preparations are impressive. We shared the tower. WOW - so impressive. Would go again and... More

Best food, service and staff ever!!! The steak melted in your mouth... The roasted garlic was delicious and the mashed potatoes were so creamy... The Waldorf salad was something even my daughter ate (and she doesn't like salads) - best time ever ❤️

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
