After being turned away on Friday for not having reservations at a local Cuban spot on, we decided to stop by the Emporium Brazil. We asked if we needed reservations and if we were under dressed, must tell you the staff was more than appreciative to serve our family. I want to thank the entire restaurant staff for their hospitality.... More

It is a nice restaurant with tablecloths handy to broadway. The shrimp were cooked perfectly as was the delicious branzino. Prices were fair and very reasonable by NYC standards. Drinks were solid and not skimpy. We will be back for sure.

Any steak on the menu is fabulous! The seasoning is just right to bring out the best of the meat. Staff is attentive and friendly. Selection is pretty large but why go to a Brazilian restaurant and chose anything but red meat! The cheese biscuits and flan are a must!

We don't eat Brazilian cuisine very often but jump at the chance to sample it. This is a good place for that as they have a menu featuring lots of Brazilian favorites. Portions are generous, prices reasonable (especially for NY) and service is friendly. On a street featuring other Brazilian places, this may be the best choice.

Always a great quick stop. When I long for a Brazilian taste, I always stop by for aps n caipirinha. The appetizers (salgadinho) is made fresh. I love the pastel de carne, bolinha de bacalhau, the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Don't forget to finished it off with cafezinho ( espresso) and brigadeiro ( chocolate truffle)

We literally chanced upon this place as we were walking along this street and a quick google told us that this had great reviews and we thought, why not! Omg - firstly the service was soooo lovely! Our waiter was just such a lovely guy and was educating us so much on Brazilian food and different flavours and recommending various... More

Although we have Brazilian food daily at home while on vacation my teens still look for Brazilian food. My son chose Emporium after reading some reviews and I am SO GLAD we went there. The service is ' Brazilian style' a bit of patience is important. However it is effective and we absolutely loved. All dishes were cooked to perfection,... More

We went to Emporium on a Saturday night, with a group of twelve. It's strange to notice that the restaurant is half empty on a Saturday night. Tap water is served quickly, but it takes some time before orders are taken. The food is OK. Basic, nice, steak, but nothing more than that. I took the "Picanha na Grelha". A... More

My husband is a Brazilian meat snob. He had the filet parmigiana and I had a fish dish with shrimp in coconut sauce, which won a NYC voting. Both were stellar, + the coxinhas, caipiroskas & vinagrette. The flans are to die for too, esp the coconut one 😍 GO! You won't be disappointed!

We were in NYC for one night and were staying a few blocks away. We did a quick google search, read a few positive reviews and we were on our way to Emporium Brazil. The service was great, wait staff were very friendly and stopped to chat with us a little at the table. The authentic cocktails were great and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
