We were dropping our son off at his new apartment and were starving so we stopped in at the Park Wine Bar. Great energy, albeit a loud place (but great tunes) unfortunately a very long wait for our food. Sadly, my chicken and waffles that...I ordered special (please put broth on side) did not come as I had requested. It looked like tables around us had some issues with their orders as well. The food was tasty and though we did not have cocktails, they looked awesome. Great spot right off the park.More

Friends dined here and had an enjoyable evening. When the food finally came out - over an hour wait, it was very good. Our server was very nice and was doing everything he could do to cover for the kitchens screw-ups. My poor mark for...service is directed at the kitchen, not our server. The place has a great vibe when the music cranks up a little later in the evening.More

Hard to put into words what I felt as I left this place! Booked weeks ahead on a strong recommendation from our accomodation agent. Booking, confirmed by email 24hrs prior, seemed to vaporise 5 minutes after we arrived, and we were dealt with very poorly...by the staff - being from Australia, I have limited knowledge of how things work in the local milieux, though I suspect our young adult family group did not fit the desired demographic. Cannot comment on the quality of the food or drink, as we were not given the opportunity to try either. Having stayed in, toured, and thoroughly enjoyed Harlem for two weeks, this was by far and away the disappointment of our trip.More

Tried this out based on the 'West Indian native' chef referenced in the description, being that I'm from Trinidad. The menu, while select, was enough that everyone could find something to at least try. We had the crab dumplings( aka accra), salmon tacos and lamb....Exceptional flavours, that did not dissapoint our Trinidadian palatte...And leaves me wanting to sample more of the menu. The speciality cocktail list was 'limited', but that's the idea of specialty. The drinks were sufficiently strong & tasty. There was an event that night. So the restaurant was a-buzz, very lively and quite loud, but hey, it was 10pm on a Friday night. The space is great, nice ambiance, and attentive, knowledable & amicable staff; hostess to the server.More
