Every time I'm in New York, on the first morning of my stay, I visit Blue Fin for breakfast. It's becoming a ritual. I preferred the downstairs dining room before the refurbishment, but upstairs is a pleasant space too. The food is always good. The eggs benedict and scrambled eggs with chorizo are stand out dishes. On this occasion service... More

My family and a friend ate dinner at Blue Fin and found the food well prepared and tasty. However, you better make sure you're credit card is not near it's limit because it will cost you a bundle. My ribeye steak with lobster infused mashed potatoes was very good but the $55 price tag was bit much. My wife and... More

This place we ate at for dinner had incredible fish. The wait was a little long to get in and the restaurant itself was very loud, but the food was good and we would go there again sometime soon.

For our first night in NYC, we used Open Table and booked Blue Fin for 6:30 table for 2. The only reason we would not give the visit a 5:5 was a service issue right near the end, not The food!! The food was fantastic! We arrived almost a half hour early intending to sit at the bar and wait... More

Thank you so much for your feedback! I am glad you enjoyed the food, and I definitely apologized for the coffee snafu at the end, we are aware that we can sometimes get overwhelmed at the coffee station during pre-theatre, and we are working to address the problem. Please feel free to reach out to me if you want to... More

We went here for dinner. Having been 4 years ago I was unsure as it was a lot smaller. Wow the food and service was fantastic. We had the burger, a must. Tried to get back but ran out of time. It didn't disappoint.

The Blue Fin was arguably one of the best restaurants we eat at while in Manhattan. The Sushi is very tasty and the general food is nice to. I also liked the little touches such as the 'I heart NY' Print on the burger bun. The restaurant is dimly lit so it works as a classy romantic place and also... More

I went to Blue Finn after the show with my wife and my sister. The place looks great. It is fairly large. They have several rooms. By 5 pm on Saturday night the place was pretty busy. The service was fantastic and food is delicious. However, it is extremely expensive. For 3 people having one drink each and no desert... More

Mike W, Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed our food, service nd ambience. Although we work very hard to keep Blue Fin affordable, the location and the high quality of the ingriedients we use definitely play a factor in our prices. We hope that won't deter you from joining us here again! David Robeano, Service... More

This was my first visit to Blue Fin since they reduced their ground floor space on Broadway near 47th St. so I was pleasantly surprised by its stylish new decor. I was also surprised when the waitress handed each of us two food menus in addition to a drink menu. One menu is sushi, the other menu mostly fish and... More

My wife and I were in New York City for an anniversary weekend. We almost did not make a reservation after reading the reviews about the recent service. However we decided to take a chance. We are so glad that we did, the food was excellent the service was great!

A modern seafood restaurant, where Broadway energy meets quiet sophistication. This year we are very excited to announce our three story New Year's Eve extravaganza. The celebration will include an open bar, small plates and canapes by both Chef Ivy Stark of Dos Caminos and Chef Juan Carlos Ortega from Blue Fin, live entertainment including DJs, live band, magicians, fortune tellers, acrobats, and more, and a special giveaways for every guest. Tickets are on sale now.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
