We had arrived around 11 am and by 1 pm were a bit hungry so decided to have lunch here. It is the only choice if you want to eat within the building. Its a bit pricey but the food is good. We shared a salmon on sourdough main meal which was exceptionally nice if a little small by american... More

The service and food in this restaurant are both very good. We highly recommend all the salads and the daily soup is also quite good.

Maybe a little unfair, we had just returned from 2 months in Florence , so we thought it good but not great Very nice staff, but we had to ask for bread twice and they paired sparkling water in my still water glass Food was a little too salty

We visited the MOMA and found this cafe convenient for our lunch. Their vegetarian food choice is good. I found it slightly overpriced for their quantity. But you do have to pay for the location in this case. Service was good when we were there that weekday when the place was not that busy.

Had a real surprise finding such a good inventive vegetarian menu in MoMA. Fantastic meal, great sauvignon blanc, fab service. What more could we want. Well little other than a free lunch! Definitely be back on our next visit.

I'm a local and a member of the MoMA. I don't just come for lunch when visiting the museum, but as a lunch destination. Fresh ingredients, fast service, and a great variety make it a great spot for lunch. Lines can get long, but as a solo, you certainly get in fast.

A haven in the midst of art overload, the food was excellent for a gallery. Wine list great but expensive.

So, food is nothing to write home about; decor clean lines, white table cloth...scandinavian modern with moderately well trained staff. Prices challenge the quality of the food. But, the attraction is to get out on the terrace, which is a balcony set into the line of the building overlooking the Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden and the street nearby. So, you... More

Good quality and interesting items but no real bargains to be had. Again good quality, with a large array od artfully made and curated collection, but not cheap !

While the service and cuisine are only slightly above average for a trattoria, Sette MoMA is all about location - as well as a view on the museums sculpture garden.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
