It had been a long time since I had been to PJ Clarke's -maybe 15-20 years. Found myself solo and staying in the city the night before the blizzard that wasn't- decided to walk around midtown with time and daylight to burn. Eventually found my way to PJ Clarke's and peeked into the bar. The bar itself was crowded and... More

The food here is top notch. Several different types of oysters and I had a 'try' of one of each for my starters - all good but some really special. We shared a steak which was excellent and cooked how we like it. Extremely friendly waitress, who, seeing that we were English, wanted to chat about how we Brits perceived... More

We went there for an early dinner. The food was wonderful. The fresh tater tots where worth every calorie. If you have never been try the burgers or the fish and chips and for dessert chocolate cake is a must have. I had the peach cosmo, wish it was not so early in the day because I would have had... Our group of four gals from Denver was treated to the most delightful lunch at PJ Clarke's as a "Plan B" due to bitter weather conditions. My gluten and dairy free requests were easily accommodated. The cozy basement, welcoming staff and relaxed conversations with manager, Sean Kaplan, made it a stop we were glad we had stumbled upon. Go there!

I've recently moved jobs to Midtown East, and this is my new favorite spot. Gerry at the bar is of the best in the city - terrific guy and recommends the best on the menu.

They are a bit worn from serving many people, and that doesn't happen if your not offering something the people want. I found their dinning areas very dark, the service was fine, but the food seemed thrown together in a hurry. Go ahead and stop here, but don't expect any wows.

We stayed around the corner and this local place was recommended by our hotel. Didn't disappoint.... went early so got a table no problem, but by the time we left it had filled up. Attentive and knowledgeable server, decent prices for the neighborhood and food was very tasty. Would recommend and definitely come back.

I had a burger, fries and a beer for around $26. Food, beer and service were all good. I would recommend it.

Great food, and not a bad price (considering the location.) I got the 3rd Ave Chopped Salad with skirt steak...excellent choice! Our waitress was very friendly, we did not have to wait for a table, and the food came out pretty quickly. Overall enjoyed the experience and would recommend it! Great location too, but only drawback is that it can... More

Será que os proprietários da MARCA PJ CLARKES tem conhecimento do que está ocorrendo com a marca no Brasil??

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
