We went here on a recommendation after the Museum of Natural History; it was perfect. We had 4 adults and two kids and all were very happy. I'm vegan and had tons of options, the kids loved crepes and the other adults all had sandwiches or salads that were lovely.

Had brunch here on a Sunday before visiting the Natural History Museum. It's quaint, welcoming and full of ephemera and tchotchke. They'll even douse you in fairy dust if you so wish. The brunch menu is limited, but the food was pretty good. It will take you 45 minutes to go through the extensive tea list, but have no fear,... More

I had my birthday breakfast here...Yummy! Alice's breakfast tea was so nice- and I'm picky about my tea! The service was outstanding... our server was sweet and very helpful with suggestions. Biscuits and scones top rated! I noticed that it was extra special for the young girls having tea with their moms. Totally kid friendly and charming! I went to... More

I visited with my 17yo and her friend and was looking forward to a special experience having tea in a cute setting. This is definitely not what I got! We arrived on a Sunday at 10:45 and were told the wait would be around 45min. No problem. We were seated approximately an hour and a half (!) later in a... More

This is my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in NYC. I love scones and Alice's are the best I've found. They are served with wonderful jam and clotted cream. The omelets and chicken hash are terrific. The waitstaff is friendly and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable about the teas. The restaurant is very small, so go early to get seated without a... More

I found Alice's Tea cup after deciding I wanted to find a new cafe near my school campus. I was intrigued by the name and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and discovered it was a proper Alice in Wonderland themed cafe! I've come back multiple times for their organic-loose-tea-leaf teas and giant ginger molasses cookies. They have a... More

This was the perfect place to stop for afternoon tea and snacks with friends. It is a little expensive, but we weren't rushed and truly enjoyed the atmosphere, tea and snacks.

I have been here more than a few times. I have never however, been here on a weekend. You can't make a reservation for a Saturday/Sunday unless you make it Mon-Frid and you can't make it the same day as you want to come. We had 6 people last minute and waited for an hour and a half. The hostess... More

Lovely little place for afternoon tea. Perfect if traveling with young ones. Great selection of tea. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. Prices about right for NY.

I had breakfast, I wasn t impressed with the quality (scones were a bit in spite of being in the morning, presumable they should have been freshly baked? Orange juice not very nice, dry potatoes). Prices are way to high and your better off at almost any other café in the neighbourhood.
