Alice makes you want to be a child again. A child who eats scones all day and drinks tea with the mad hatter. The scones are always so fluffy and crispy on the edges. The tea is served in vintage tea pots and cups. The room is decorated with items from a fairy tale. I personally don't think the high... More

I have visited this place for lunch in the past and last Sunday I returned to Alice's Tea Cup with my mom and 2 friends (it was their first time!). We were in the city to see Finding Neverland. Since we were only a party of 4, we could not make reservations. Reservations are only accepted for groups of 6... More

Great concept and adorable little shoppe, but it's not worth the price. Don't be tricked into getting the full tea service it's not worth it but just a pot of tea and fresh scone are a must. The scones are actually the best I've ever had, and if you keep it simple you'll be happy and so will your pocketbook.

I'd been building this up in my head for months prior to departing for NYC. I recently have come to appreciate tea (though I'll forever be a coffee girl) and I've been obsessed with Alice in Wonderland ever since I saw the original Disney cartoon nearly 35 years ago. We were sat promptly (within ten minutes) despite other waiting parties... More

This was my third visit. So cute and perfect for a little rest after a a busy day in NYC. Tremendous variety of teas to choose from, tea sandwiches, soup, pastries and of course, scones. Very enjoyable !!!

Went with my wife for her birthday, she loved it. Thankfully I was not the only man there. The tea was excellent very good scones and sandwiches.

Visited years ago, and somehow it seems not as quaint as it was. The storefront is fine, but the dining rooms seem tired..and well....not charming. The teas were fine and some of the people at our table were satisfied with their food...waffles, crepes, granola. But nobody was thrilled. They messed up on an order requested to be gluten free and... More

We came here to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday - she wanted to go someplace she could have a "proper tea". Whereas we wanted just breakfast, so we compromised and found Alice's Tea Cup. The decor is casual - drawings on the walls with an Alice kind of theme. We were seated promptly and our waitress (I can't remember her... More
