Stopped here with my 7 year old daughter- I may have expected a bit too much, but it was just "so so". The food was ok and overall it was a fun experience, but it seemed to be overpriced, even for NYC.

This caught our eye in the street, and we didn't regret going in. Fantastic fresh scones with unusual ingredients (at least for UK visitors, who are only used to fruit scones and cheese scones). We had to spend a minimum of $10 each. Overall we thought it was good value. Quirky Alice theme made it different. Would go again if... More

My friend and I visited for a pot of Russian caravan tea, a buttermilk scone and a grilled veggie sandwich. Everything was delicious and top notch. The interior is really lovely, cute decorations. Nice and quiet, great place to chill and eat.

My teen/adult daughters loved the creative concept of this tea shop. The tea, service and food were excellent. We would definitely return.

Alice's Teacup is one of the best places I've ever had tea. We ordered the "Mad Morning Tea" which was a scone w/ jam and clotted cream, 3 poached eggs and fresh fruit w/ granola and Greek yogurt, served on a tiered tray. The scones were excellent. There were so many different types of tea to choose from. Afternoon Tea... More

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I had checked the brunch menu online and gluten free options included eggs any style. When I arrived I was given a GF menu which listed omelets. But when I tried to order I was told that the only eggs I could get on Sunday were poached and if I didn't want that... More

I went here with family and my 6yr old daughter really enjoyed the tea cup theme. We ordered a PB&J sandwich and a soup. It wasn't amazing food but it was a nice little afternoon stop with a small child.

Lots of millennial people dining here. The service was slow. Slow to be seated and in getting the bill. Food was good, though overpriced. Nice location and friendly staff.

Great scones are not to be missed at Alice's Tea Cup. The seating is limited, but it's a cozy space. If you're looking for a quick bite, this is a good choice on the UWS.
