Took my family last night. Large, spacious upstairs made for a relaxing atmosphere. Our server was professional. The pizza was excellent. They treated my four children well.

Wandering around near our hotel and wanting Italian, but more than pizza. Found this place just east of 5th Avenue on 57th. The upstairs was empty, but filled up quickly as we sat there. They fried zucchini and eggplant - thin sliced and quick fried - was delicious. Arugula salad and pasta fagioli were excellent, as well. Attentive service, casual... More

Looked forward to visiting. Antipasto was great but pizza was a disappointment. Crust lacked flavor, needed salt. 13" fed two people but we were let down with the lack of true flavor we were expecting.

We needed a place to eat before the show. This place was next to our theater and with Happy Hour. We figured we'd, at least, grab a drink before the show. Once we were inside the aromas in the air inspired us. We ended up ordering the lasagna and the pasta carbonara. Last time we had good carbonara was in... More

This was not our first visit to this nice little place often visited by locals, and it won't be our last. It is not a pizza joint, but a small Italian restaurant. The seating is a bit crowded, but the food is worth is. I had delicious eggplant parmesan and my husband had a sausage, veggie and pasta dish. Both... More

We found this little Italian restaurant on the way back from biking in Central Park. The pizza and calzones were great! It's a small place and very crowded, but the service was still great and it seemed as though it's a family owned place. Definitely will go again.

Cute restaurant near Fiddler on the Roof Broadway show location. Sat near street window, and enjoyed the city bustle. Wife and I love the food, and had great service. Definitely a must.

We felt the pizza was amazing. It was a very thin and crispy crust, wood-fired to perfection. The area was a decent size for NYC. The staff were forgettable but they did not forget us at least. We were in and out quickly and left with a satisfyingly full belly.

Angelo is a simple place on two floors, you may be almost sure the same waiter/waitress won't take care of you two times, they are always kind and helpful and... foreign. Not so Angelo's food which is really Italian and very good. I can mention excellent pasta e faggioli, delicious lasagna and a lovely Pizza Margherita with the colors of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
