We needed a quick lunch, so we stopped at Angelo's Coal Fired Pizza. We asked if they serve slices; they do not. We didn't want to wait for a whole pizza to be cooked, so we were about to leave, but they said a small pizza could be cooked in 7 to 10 minutes. We decided to stay, and that... More

The Pizza was great and the large really is LARGE and can feed four easily. The calzone also delicious and easily fed two people. Friendly staff and a nice clean place not to far from Times Square hotels but far enough to get away from the crowds. Everything very authentic Italian.

I stopped in to have a bite after a long day of flight while my room was being prepared. I sat at the bar, it was a busy place but the food looked so good. I just settled for the grill chicken salad.

We arrived late on New Years Day with a party of ten with six kids ranging from 5 to 17 and not only asked but got a table. The server was amazing, memorising several split pizzas and not making a single mistake, an amazing feat given the late time of day. The Pizza was great and lived up to expectations... More

We were able to walk here easily from our hotel, wanting a relaxed meal for our family of five later in the evening. Even though the city was very crowded, we were able to get right in and were served very quickly. Great pizza and pasta that pleased all three of our teenagers. They were closing up at 10, which... Good tasty pizza, shame the waitress didn't bother to listen to my order as it was completely the wrong size, service didn't really improve throughout, we didn't need to hang around with such a small pizza between the two of us....would try again but would like a bit more attentive service.

In area that's mostly upscale or tourist traps, this place is amazing. Not the best pizza in NY but one of the best and near some major attractions. You can't come here expecting your back home restaurants. Yes it's tight spaces, yes not the smile every five second waitress but a light local place with a delicious pizza.

Best pizza! Just the way it is in Italy. We had pizza and zesty penne. The penne was cooked perfect and the crust on the pizza was fabulous! Service was great and very quick and we are here during Christmas break.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
