Never a let down! I come here for lunch every week and the only problem I have is that my mouth says PIZZA instead of SALAD when I have such good intentions. Great food at a good value, consistent.

This restaurant had been recommended to us by our slightly mad taxi driver and as it was only a couple of blocks from our hotel we decided to give it a try. It was sound advice: the pizza was freshly made and delicious, the salad was good, the chicken even better and the pasta very tasty. The bread though was... More

Angelo's delivered to our hotel after we arrived back late one night. They were very to close where we were staying and the food arrived super hot and fast. Super good Italian pasta and pizza and staff!

Stopped here at a friends recommendation on our first evening in New York. It was great. Our server was lovely, the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable and the food was delicious. It's definitely a place to go if you are craving pizza.

Pizza is amazing. Great little restaurant on 57th and 6th. The pizza crust was as delicious as the cheese and sauce. Bread was served first with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Great service and priced right. We will go back

While visiting New York we had dinner at Anglo's Pizza on 57th Street. The food was excellent (we ordered Fettucine Alfredo and Spagetti Cacciatore. Both dishes were served in a short time an piping hot - even though the restaurant was full and the staff was running like crazy. Our server was Anastasia and she was right on top of... More

We stayed right around the corner from Angelo's Pizza and if we decided to eat there sooner I'm certain we would have visited more than once before leaving. We went on a Tuesday around 7pm and it was not busy at all. Staff was friendly and polite. It was very hot out and I was glad to be given a... More

Good pizza with fresh mozzarella and real black olives -- not the canned kind. While the food was good, the restaurant could definitely use better air conditioning. It was hot the day we visited, and the room upstairs was not as refreshing as it could have been.

Excellent place for lunch, afternoon snack or casual dinner. The pizza is thin and crispy, tomato sauce with real taste, calamari soft and tasty. Of course, the beer and gin are good too. Excellent location near the top of Midtown and just below the park. I would advise using opentable to make a booking so you don't have to wait.... More

Angels was suggested by the tour guide on the bus, and boy was he right. The most amazing and authentic Italian food and reasonable prices for NYC. Well worth a visit

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
