Me & my husband called in for lunch.. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs.. It was amazing! The portion was for 3-4 people and so reasonably priced for that - it was $55 ish for the Spag & meatballs, Diet Coke and 2 large beers. You also get complimentary water and a bread basket - the bread was tasty! There was... More

Had so many people recommend this place to me that we finally tried it. I really wish we had gone somewhere else because we wasted and enormous amount of food! The waitress told us their dishes served 2-4 people, but 6 could easily eat an appropriate amount. We had the mixed seafood pasta and I was so excited when I... More

We visited Carmine's for the fist time for dinner before a Broadway show. Very busy but we able to grab a small table by the window! Great spot for people watching! The bread basket was delicious with freshly made breads-I really liked the onion bread. All servings are family style so the portions are crazy large, huge over the top! It... More

This is my 4th time to Carmine's and it never fails to deliver. The portions are huge. Dishes are hearty and delicious full of authentic italian flavors. Place is constantly busy and staff are extremely professional and very helpful. Prices are not cheap but you get your money's worth for sure. It is one of our favorites and first comes... More

Carmine's does what Carmine's does best. Big delicious family platters of traditional Italian food. Spaghetti, Chicken Parm, Salads, Antipasto and much more. Great vibe and a must for large group dining. Try the calimari appetizer for a real treat. Open late and a fun place to carb load.

Just a few steps from Times Square this Italian restaurant is, not only because its location, always very busy; at least for dinner. I was told that I should wait 20 to 30 minutes. It didn't take more than that. Large restaurant with a long bar where we can drink a beer or a glass of wine while waiting for... More

Had a lovely dinner with my two 16 yr old children. Although we forgot to make a reservation we were lucky to come in late and find a table. The place is one street away from Times Square and well known in NY. We were received by two friendly female hosts and we served by a friendly waiter (alert and... More

Was unable to book a table and was told there was an hour wait. Luckily we were able to eat at the bar, but it would have been well worth the wait. It may look expensive, but it's family dining so the portion sizes are for 3 or 4 people (so don't order a dish each). Super friendly staff just... More

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
