You'll notice the old reviews. I recently called for reservations. I've eaten here in the past. Phone was answered by old staff in a new restaurant in a different location.

After my daughter's successful run in this year's NYC Marathon, we headed to Ciro for a wonderful evening of great food and wine. Delicious food, attentive service, soothing atmosphere. I heartily recommend it.

There is nothing to dislike about Ciro. I rather make my own Italian food than go out, but Ciro is different, the food is fantastic! The Caesar salad was excellent as was the Pear salad my husband had. I had the chicken with eggplant and mozzerella, my husband had short ribs. Both were excellent. I would recommend this place if... This was our second trip back to Ciro's. We remembered it from when we were there 10 years old. It was good food then, and it still has good food. We went on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was surprisingly sparse. Even with fewer patrons, the service seemed a bit slow. But it was made up by the wonderful... More

Handy to our hotel and so we dined there twice and found it to be OK but not worth loud applause. Food was good and the service fine. It must be doing something right because it always had good patronage. Unfortunately I cannot find anything from my experiences that allow me to say Ciro was really good. On the other... More

I recently ate at Ciro and I very much enjoyed the food. It was well prepared and very close to what I have eaten in country. The service was a bit slow but the strengt of the menu more than made up for it.

Dined at Ciro's on 6/12. We were promptly seated. Service was attentive but without hovering. Food was delicious, served hot, very rich and creamy. We ordered lasagna, fettucine alfredo, and ravioli. We also enjoyed the apple pie and carmel cheesecake. One appetizer, four dinners, two desserts, no alcohol was $100. The meal was delicious but very rich so it is... More

Ciro Trattoria is one of those uninspired Italian cafes in the Theater District area. It's often packed with tourists and passerbys, rather than those seeking it out. The initimate bar and dining room do make it a safe haven from the madness of the neighboring Times Square, but I would recommend heading one avenue over to 9th and visiting an... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
