Was walking by and looking for a place to eat. I wanted something (not pizza) that was low rocked, good quality and quick. If that's your brief too, then this is a great place It clean, friendly, warm in winter and huge range of typical American diner foods. Nothing fancy or over the top and the prices reflect that. Just... More

I stopped here for a burger and was impressed by the wide selection of burgers and the flavor. I tried the pizza burger and really enjoyed the flavor. This is a fun place to eat in Greenwich village.

Since I was a student in NYC I always come back to this place. It is a classical dinner, so nothing fancy to expect. But if you just wanna grab a good Burger or a sandwich for a decent price it is really good.

On a cold day, this place has very hearty soup. Sadly, their prices are high for NYU student budgets. The split pea soup was very good and the waiter was able to add ham into the soup without additional charge (the bowl was already expensive). All appetizers are priced closer to $10 and the main dishes are only about $5... More

Old style New York City diner with efficient staff (George, our Greek waiter was great). Actually cooked my burger the way I wanted it. All four of us were quite happy.

The meal was very good and the environment very NYU. Lots of options on the menu, and everything that we tried was perfect! Great service, and attention from our waiter. Really happy to find a family environment with great food for a late night.

One morning we were strolling around in the neighbourhood (as tourists) and got hungry, so we decided to take a shot at this diner. The food (omlettes with different ingredients) was awesome and the atmosphere just like you would expect from a diner (which you can often see in American movies/series). As a Jackie Chan-fan I especially liked the poster... More

After a very long day "touristing " downtown and wending our hungry way back up Broadway to our hotel in Midtown my wife spotted the Diner sign glowing temptingly . It being about 21.30 and not having eaten since breakfast we soon found something to our taste in the window menu and dived in . Decor looked typically "american diner"... More

Loved this place (a feature in the Adam sandler film "big daddy") we went in by accident and enjoyed so much, as well as the quality banter with the manager! Great pancakes and sausage with scrambled eggs! Side of toast! Would defo go back, should be way higher on TA!

You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
