The meal was very good and the environment very NYU. Lots of options on the menu, and everything that we tried was perfect! Great service, and attention from our waiter. Really happy to find a family environment with great food for a late night.

Traditional diner. Large portions good value for money. Tasty food. Very busy but worth the wait. Def recommend and will be back.

One morning we were strolling around in the neighbourhood (as tourists) and got hungry, so we decided to take a shot at this diner. The food (omlettes with different ingredients) was awesome and the atmosphere just like you would expect from a diner (which you can often see in American movies/series). As a Jackie Chan-fan I especially liked the poster... More

After a very long day "touristing " downtown and wending our hungry way back up Broadway to our hotel in Midtown my wife spotted the Diner sign glowing temptingly . It being about 21.30 and not having eaten since breakfast we soon found something to our taste in the window menu and dived in . Decor looked typically "american diner"... More

Loved this place (a feature in the Adam sandler film "big daddy") we went in by accident and enjoyed so much, as well as the quality banter with the manager! Great pancakes and sausage with scrambled eggs! Side of toast! Would defo go back, should be way higher on TA!

Not only it was not good (we took various salads), but our salads were made with products of no taste, industrial like. And the service was bad, with the check arriving in the middle of the diner without asking if we wanted a desert or anything. A bad experience.

This restaurant is in the heart of the village. I liked the ham and cheese sandwich as a main course, and the layer cake for dessert.

I love the burgers but most of the time a grilled cheese and the Split Pea soup gets the nod. The service is usually a combination of friendly but a little gruff which as a New Yorker I find comforting. I've been coming here for years and I hope it never changes.

We were walking around the area and looking for a place to eat. By asking the locals they suggested Cozy and we gave it a try and we enjoyed it. The burgers were like home-made nothing compared to the plastic taste in Mcdonalds etc and the waiters - owner quite welcome. It does worth a visit if you are in... More

We were only in New York for a couple of days and on our last day, we wanted to have lunch at someplace a little "authentic" whatever that means :-). We were taking the Metro back from the 9/11 Memorial and got off in Soho. We say the big "Diner" sign and decided to give it a try. Are we... More

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
