Duex Amis What A Waste. Friendly owner & staff, interesting reading menu, and horrible food. About as French a bistro as a church soup kitchen.
We went there a few time, for brunch and dinner. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich for brunch which was very good. For Dinner I had Le Veau au Risotto, very good too. I would like the little french rolls more crispy, not soft...More
Even though my husband and I do not live in this restaurant's neighborhood, we love to come here on a Saturday night and relax in a cozy, French bistro atmosphere. The food is quite good, reasonably priced, and the wait staff helpful and friendly. A...More
I have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed my time, be it at the bar, or table. The food is very good, and the staff exceedingly gracious. Zahir, the bartender, is one of my favorites in NYC. A true gentleman.
Went again last night for their delicious cassoulet....great little gem with friendly staff and excellent French cuisine. The waitresses remember you and if it's crowded and you want to have dinner at the bar, they do an terrific job. I love the duck and the...More
Great French comfort food in a cozy bistro atmosphere. Add to this the friendly and attentive service and you have a great find. We'll be back!
Classic French cuisine, steak au pioneer, coq au vin, cassoulet, etc. Our dishes were well done and classic. Nice selection of wines by the glass or bottle, or a carafe. The restaurant has an enclosed patio area up front for sunny days or nice evenings...More
food is always good. I ate at the bar and find it very comfortable and friendly for a single business women traveler. Disappointed no duck tonight but had steak and fries. Yummmm. Shamir is fabulous. Thank you,
One of my wife's and my favorite restaurants. It hasn't changed much (for good reason) in the last 10 years. Very good Steak Frites and chicken. Very pleasant staff.
