This is our go-to restaurant when we want sushi. I like the selection, taste and delivery time. Next time when you are in mid-town and want sushi, I highly recommend this place.

Have been here a few times in past visits to NYC, worth a quick trip if staying in the times square area and trying to avoid the fast food chains and diners. The cut rolls were good as usual and the teryaki salmon was an excellent choice. Is pricey, however it is close to times square, so not too unreasonable

Looking to satisfy my sushi cravings I took to the streets in time square and found Haru just 3mins away! Its nicely decorated and inviting, the prices are fai, (you can find rolls from $5 and up) but most of all the food is good! I would recommend Haru Sushi, they have variety and the service is also good.

We went here for a pre theater dinner. We had a six o'clock reservation. we were seated promptly. That have traditional sushi and shahimi dishes. The portions were of good size and well prepared. I had a cucumber gimlet as a drink. Very different and I enjoyed itt. I had the tempura as an appetizer. The veggies and shrimp were... More

Okay, so this isn't Nobu. It's solid, consistent, delicious, slightly pandering pop-Japanese (with some other asian angles, like crispy Peking-style duck and some others). So, while it's not super authentic, it is super-delicious. I've been here a dozen times, and I've never had a bad meal. For the fussier people in your party -- or the sushi-averse, especially -- there... More

Always the same is a good thing! Quality, large pieces of sushi is extremely fresh due to the popularity of this place. Very centrally located near Time Square we always make a stop for a full meal and a bottle or two of sake. You will not be disappointed. Cooked food also.

We walked to Haru after a show. Service was friendly and accommodating (no hesitation when I asked for gluten free soy sauce). The fish was quality. Pricing was okay, reasonable for the area I think. We'd come here again.

We ate at the bar. My friend got there before me and ordered three appetizers...edamame, chicken satay (loved the dipping sauce!), and panko shrimp. All three were excellent. He then got a sushi platter, and I had a shrimp tempura roll. We enjoyed them both a lot. We also ordered vegetable tempura. I didn't love it. We had a piece... More

Haru Sushi is one of the best sushi places I have tried. My friends and I came to New York from Maryland for a weekend get away. On Sunday as we were leaving, we had extra time and decided to stop for brunch. We Googled "Sushi places Times Square" and this was the first to come up so we made... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
