Haven't been this restaurant for years and come back again tonight. Service is good but food is just average. To be fair, having this quality at such location and price is understandable. Enjoy!

We were in the mood for Sushi, and used my trusty tripadvisor app to find this place. There were busy and we didn't have reservations, however they found a spot for us. Food was very good. Salads were huge. Price was fair for this style of restaurant in NYC. Service was very good. The chefs didn't talk to us, but... More

For the cost maybe you can find other Sushi restaurants, but if your in the theater district it is convenient. It was at 7 PM on a Sunday and they ran out of Duck which was a bummer for us. The servers all seemed nice and they tried. The sushi was expensive and only fair at best. We were able... More

Not wanting typical tourist fare while in NYC this weekend I wandered over to Haru (which is a chain of sorts). I figured if I got there at 6P it would be fine. Wrong. Thank heavens I was by myself and could be seated at the sushi bar. The place was jammed. It has an excellent and varied menu. I... More

Went to dinner pre-theatre. I like sitting at the sushi counter so we reserved the sushi bar. There was NO communication with the chefs behind the counter so we might as well been at a table. The quality of the fish was "okay", very limited choices though if you are used to anything beyond the very typical. Did not seem... More

This restaurant serves sushi and other Japanese fare. I find it odd in America to go to a Japanese restaurant and find taco on the menu. Having said that my wife liked her soup and spicy prawn dish. My seaweed salad and chicken Katsu were also very good. The service was good but not great. I would still recommend trying... More

Haru is an excellent sushi place in the heart of Times Square. Prices are reasonable given the location and also in comparison to some other higher priced sushi places in the area. Fish tacos appetizer is excellent and always free and the sushi lunch which comes with a salad or miso soup is a great deal.

My colleague from work recommended Haru as it was close to our hotel and quite frankly it was freezing outside so we didn't want to venture too far. We asked the waitress to recommend their best rolls, as well as ordering the sashimi platter. Sashimi plate for two was , I had better Tuna in other places but it was... More

This is our go-to restaurant when we want sushi. I like the selection, taste and delivery time. Next time when you are in mid-town and want sushi, I highly recommend this place.

Have been here a few times in past visits to NYC, worth a quick trip if staying in the times square area and trying to avoid the fast food chains and diners. The cut rolls were good as usual and the teryaki salmon was an excellent choice. Is pricey, however it is close to times square, so not too unreasonable

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
