We come here whenever in the city. Been coming for ten years or more. Have had every meal service from brunch to dinner. Food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. Beth always has time to spend with guests. You feel like family here.

We stopped here for an early dinner before the theatre. The staff was polite and made us feel special. We tried the daily special and shared the dessert. The food was promptly served and tasted delicious.

We wanted to have dinner in Hell’s Kitchen but also wanted more of a variety of entree selections (Italian and steak had been overdone during our visit). We found this place through trip advisor and it was a great hit! The veal special, according to...More

The second-floor bar at Hourglass makes a cozy place for a before- or after-theatre drink. It isn't large (call it "intimate'), but offers sufficient seating at the bar and a couple of hightop tables, with a window overlooking the busy scene on Restaurant Row. Wine...More

We were looking for a NYC brunch experience and headed to West 46th Street to check out restaurant row. The Hourglass just looked authentic, the patrons seemed to be locals not tourists (like us!), and it had a really cool vibe. At first glance it...More

This was a return trip after discovering Hourglass last year. I even had the same meal (salad, grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes & spinach, and Tiramisu for dessert). It was from the prix fixe menu - a NYC bargain at $25. This year I...More

Small on space but big on service and food - a theater district staple for those in the know. No pretense, just good everything. First heard of the place in a John Grisham novel years ago, have been going back ever since.
