the crab cake app was my favorite. we shared the Tbone but I wanted it rare and he wanted it cooked, they said it was possible, they'd cook the second half more... it wasn't good for either of us, we got some sort of "medium" that didn't work for either of us. Then we had the lava chocolate cake, which... More

This time we came for brunch! Excellent food and service and the prices, for NYC brunch are SUPER - $15-20 per person! This is a MUST! This is a new "go-to" when in NYC!

My wife and I happened to see this place when walking along the street. It looked nice, so we went in. It was a hit! Surroundings were great, the service was quick. The cobb salade can be recommended, tasty and large. Well worth visiting.

The interior as well as the menu as well as the clientele brings you back into the last century. In a way this is a relief from our contemporary stress. The food is good enough to enjoy. Certainly home made, but a bit dry...

What you have always imagined a New York restaurant to be like. Booths with panelled walls and a little local jazz combo playing on some nights. Excellent steaks. Been to a few restaurants in Manhattan, but this is my favourite. A true taste of NY

Went here with some friends from New Mexico. It seems kinda expensive but the portions are well worth it. We had a great server who was quick with the wit as we were to give it.

We had the best steak we have had in a long tine (the 12 oz filet) paired with the iron skillet shrimp scampi (we shared and made our own surf and turf, a tradition for us). The fresh baked bread was excellent - sourdough and a sweet corn bread that I would order for home delivery if available! Family style... More

My wife and I both had seafood, which was well-prepared and tasty. However, $31 for 4 medium-sized scallops struck me as a bit pricey. The cheesecake was superb. The place was lively and therefore somewhat noisy. Service was very good.

This restaurant has a great menu, with lots of choices and the food is delicious! lots of vegetarian options. The staff are attentive and friendly. We have been several times and its exciting to try new things, and there are so many opportunities. Have been for brunch and dinner. Fairly decent size restaurant and it is always crowded. Not sure... More

It's my husband's favorite steakhouse, (established 1977 but has old NY charm). The service is impeccable, the oysters delectable and the T-bone steaks cooked to perfection. Aside from the ambiance and food, there's jazz on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9:00. If you have to wait at the bar for a table you are sure to meet people who... More
