This restaurant is across the street from my apartment, so it's been a staple for me for quite some time. I must stress that it's expensive, even by NYC standards. However, the food is wonderful. If you are going to pay over $8 for an order of dumplings, it had better be -- and they are. The service is generally... More

Having moved to 29th Street and 3rd Avenue from 28th Street (why change a successful name), this is a neighborhood restaurant with a typical selection of Chinese food. Good quality. For one diner, they serve too much food. Some items have heavy brown sauce. But overall it is a good place and quite inexpensive. Malaysian wait staffer is excellent.

I've been coming to Noodles 28 for years. Even before they moved to 29th street and 3rd. The egg rolls are the best (crispy on the outside and warm inside and not greasy at all). The Singapore Mei Fun is good and a bit spicey. Everything is fresh. Lunch is a bargain for $10 or $11. Say hi to Ming... More

Having lived off the cheapest take out available for the last six months, I went up a notch wanting some transitional vietnamese Bun. Instead I got the blandest pad thai-like rubbish I've ever encountered. And no sauces included with delivery so I ended up searching my apartment for something to liven it up. The chicken dish ordered was similarly bland,... More

We had not been to Noodles 28 since they moved from 28th St to 3rd Avenue -- and we will never again return. Egg rolls were almost burned -- and the won ton soup flavorless. Our former favorite, cold sesame noodle, was an incredibly small serving floating in a pool of soy sauce. The rice noodle in our pork dish... More

Always go back here as it is my favourite chinese place. I am normally not a big fan of chinese, and that is probably only because most of the places in the states that I have it, it's really greasy and oily, not fresh, and leaves me dehydrated for the rest of the day because of the copious amounts of... I came here for lunch, ordering the pineapple chicken from the "Super Lunch Specials" menu: For $9.75 I got the chicken dish, rice, and veggies. For an extra dollar, the lunch menu lets you add an item from a list that includes soda, salad, soups and appetizers so I ordered a Diet Coke. The menu indicated that the pineapple chicken... More

Found this place not far from my hotel and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! The Thai Iced Tea is awesome! I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and it was delicious. I was surprised at how fresh it tasted. The chicken was tender chunks of white meat. Loaded with peanuts and mushrooms. I will definitely return for... More

Food is well-prepared and the fastest delivery in the city. Very consistent quality. Very economical lunch menu, also.
