This excellent restaurant changes decorations for each season. The food is incredible as is the Staff. We were given Champagne and dessert in honor of our 50th Anniversary but I would still give this Restaurant high marks for their menu and ambiance!

This was my first visit to Park Ave Winter and I'm definitely coming back to try spring, summer and fall! Creative menu with very fresh ingredients served by knowledgeable staff in a beautiful surrounding. The food was not only exceptionality well prepared but beautifully presented. They change the ambience and menu for each season. Loved this meal!

Although it has been almost a year since I last visited, but the salmon was unforgettable. Unlike many restaurants, Park Avenue prepared the salmon so that the fish was still raw inside, providing a tender yet flavorful bite. The other dishes we tried on the fixed menu were delicious as well, but I really want to make time to go... More

I had a party of 100 people in the attached club called Squares and hosted a party for 7 at dinner on the same night and the same time. Because the restaurant is managed so well by Scott (I am sorry I did not catch his last name) the entire experience was seamless and professional. From my initial contact with... More

This restaurant used to be located in the Upper East Side and was exceptional. The new location is wonderful and the food is as amazing as it was before. The location is much bigger and gives it a different feeling than before but the food is absolutely the reason to come to this restaurant. Brunch or dinner are great!

My husband and I had dinner on NYE and the restaurant was beautifully decorated and most of the patrons were dressed for the evening! It was refreshing to see young adults in dresses and suits and ties!! I had the duck which was wonderfully and perfectly prepared. ALL of the sides were interesting and delicious and the desserts were incredible!... More

Very professionally run, beautiful large place, music a tad loud but OK, excellent service. The Steak Tartare al la Rosinni appetizer is a bit pricy, but absolutelu the best we've had. I think the price has something to do with the truffles in the dish. The buratta is nice, so is the salad. The main dishes: Short ribs, excellent. All the... More

Had our final NYC dinner here. Had reserved well in advance but we were still given a table way in the back which for 6 of us was a real squeeze. I sat on two sofas! Tourist treatment??? Food was fabulous especially the scallops and the deserts are to die for. The sommelier offered outstanding recommendations. Our waitress had a... More

We were two couples celebrating a birthday on Christmas Day. I was a little concerned about the menu since the regular menu was substituted for a Christmas Day menu, but the concern quickly changed to euphoria once we started our meal. We each tasted one another's appetizers and the hamachi was to die for, followed by the steak tartare, butternut... More

Bathed in autumn colors of shimmering gold, deep reds, and burnished browns, this magnificent decor sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu selections are commensurate with the season, and offer creative preparations of sea and land. We started with the Brussels sprout leaves served with pecans, and goat cheese finished with an apple mustard. They were spectacular!... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
