This is an overdue review for the Restaurant Week (summer). I like it because they serve some of of their normal dishes on the special RW menu. The seasonally changing menu is a great idea to get people to check out the place again and again. Food portion is right for me (on the small side like all other fine... More

Extremely noisy place. Impossible to have a conversation with your table companions without raised voices. Uncomfortable chairs. The food is okay but nothing special, overpriced. Stepping out after the meal onto Park Avenue felt as arriving in an oasis of calm. To be recommended for first daters who do not want to talk - or heard.

Can went to dinner with my son and a friend, this place has nice decor, attentive staff, but that doesn't make up for the overpriced and in my opinion under portioned meal. The wine list at $20 a glass I thought was a bit much, I've been to nicer restaurants where the wine prices varied.overall the experience was OK, nothing... More

I have eaten at this restaurant in its old location several times with good results. Saturday night was a different story! Food was uninspiring, overpriced, cold and over salted. I must say the wait staff did their utmost to please but we're constantly scuttled by the kitchen. After complaining "nicely" to management they offered us coffee and it was cold!... More

Delightful restaurant located on Park Ave. The menu contain foods that are in season and very creatively prepared with a melange of the fruit and nuts of Autumn. My recommendation is to try the menu offer with the wine pairings! A very enjoyable dining experience.

Yesterday was the perfect day for a brunch with friends from out of town. The drinks were solid. A Manhattan with excellent preserved cherries, and mine was the pear sangria. My friend had a beer (can't recall which one) and his, partner had the Bloody Mary which was too spicy and very hot with vodka, even for a drinker. The table... More

Truly impressive restaurant on every level; decor, food quality, presentation and service. Google the menu because it changes not only seasonally but perhaps daily as well. I suppose they are focused on locally sourced fresh seasonal produce and seafood. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner or any special occasion. We ordered the four course tasting menu and it was one... More

I came here with a group of 15 people to celebrate my birthday. The waitress was nice and helpful. However, the food was disappointing. I had the branzino and it was blah - dry and tasteless. The "sweet corn agnolotti" is the only good dish on the menu. Portions extremely small and this was not from the prix-fix (we ordered... More

As you look from outside it looks like the place to be and really inviting, however; This is one of those restaurants which runs on atmosphere and overpriced drinks. All I received from this place was a bad experience and an empty wallet. Look at the photos of the food and you will see food that is made for twig... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
