Form the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The service was impeccable! Everyone was so friendly and we didn't have to wait for a thing. The head chef was greeting people at their tables, making sure everything was correct. The food was beyond...delicious including the chocolate cake we had for dessert (even though we were stuffed from the large portions of food!) Best Caesar salad I ever had, it was fresh and the dressing was perfect. Overall, a great experience and can’t wait to go back!More

As a former New Yorker now living in Naples, Florida, friends asked me to recommend an Italian restaurant on their recent trip to New York. I told them to go to Patsy's because it's the best Italian food restaurant in New York. When they returned,...they raved about the delicious food, the wonderful ambiance, and the outstanding service. Patsy's is a family owned restaurant that has been around for decades and has always been regarded as one of the best dining experiences in the City.More

This restaurant was a recommendation, and unfortunately was not a good experience, especially for what it cost to eat there. We had reservations for dinner, know there is a no hat policy and be prepared for that. The food itself, being Italian, a d someone...who cooks and raised by an amazing Italian Grandmother who cooked all my life. Here was my critique: wine, calamari and bread good. There is a chef in all the pictures on the walls, but he wasn’t present when we ate: there: spaghetti + meatballs, not al dente and the meatballs too soft because they were made mainly of too much breadcrumbs, practically very little meat. Linguine w/ clams, the sauce was horrible there was a taste to it like too much alcohol or something too pungent overpowering it, off tasting (had better to know a difference). And lemon piccata, loved the sauce and super lemony tender chicken, but eating parts of the chicken were rubbery??? There shouldn’t be these types of mistakes and quality issues when eating at a white linen table service. We were rushed to get orders in and overall NOT WORTH the money spent, super disappointed. We spoke to the man in charge of the restaurant, he was very indifferent, it wasn’t my problem attitude and cold. No compassion or acknowledgment.More

Every employee and the owner, Sal, was extremely attentive, kind, and wonderful to interact with. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. We were too full for dessert, but it looked delicious. Definitely visit this restaurant when in New York City.

Amazing, authentic and genuine atmosphere, but it only ands to the food that is exceptional quality and flavour. Food is expression of love and I felt loved indeed.

Memorable and delicious dinner. We have such a fun night. Sal the 3rd generation owner treated us like family and shared the history of Patsy’s with us. Great Sinatra and Yankees stories as well as many other celebrities. We enjoyed & loved every dish. The...appetizers: Caesar salad baked clams & artichoke hearts; the entrees: chicken marsala, cannelloni with meat sauce & stuffed Calamari were delicious. Tiramisu was best we ever had!!! Highly recommend this iconic restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.More

We had a Broadway show booked and heard this was a great restaurant. As it was very near to Broadway we decided to go for an early meal. First thing to tell you is you must book in advance. It gets busy. But true to...the image of the place you cannot book online. So the concierge in our hotel booked it for us. It’s a throwback to 1975 when you go in! A proper family run restaurant. There’s none of the over the top in your face service here. We had got quite used to the full on service and this was nothing memorable! In fact our waiter barely smiled! It was lovely not to be rushed though. We had as long as we needed to look at the menu and no pressure on what to choose. When we sat down we were given a huge basket of bread. It was lovely. We had a fab table looking inwards at the restaurant (downstairs). That was nice. Our food wasn’t rushed out to us. I really felt it was all cooked fresh. We both had pasta and it was lovely - and plentiful. Many many famous people have eaten here over the years. It’s quite well known apparently. One negative was the toilets. Very scruffy and old. I decided to wait until I got to the theatre!! So if you go here expect lovely food, take your time, and don’t expect anything digitally modern!More

Can’t say enough good things. A wonderfully extensive wine list. Perfect, traditional Italian food. From the minute my husband and I walked in we were family. Service was great, very attentive. The menu is classic southern Italian, something for everyone. My husband had the stuffed...calamari and can’t stop talking about how delicious it was. I had a Caesar salad and the eggplant parmigiana both were a real treat. Cappuccino and espresso finished off a wonderful, leisurely dinner. Priced right and very generous portions. Would recommend to anyone looking for dinner before a show or just a nice quiet dinner out.More

Well, being in NY and see that this was one of Frank Sinatra favorite restaurants I just had to try. At the end it was just ok. The service was good but not excellent but it was fast. They have a good wine selection and...the past made by them is very good. We try the spaghetti with meatballs and like I said the pasta and the sauce was very good, the quality of the meat in the meatballs was not to my taste. The lasagna is the same, the pasta was good but the rest only average quality. At the end it was expensive for the quality even for a NY restaurant.More
