The place has a good vibe about it. I suggest dining a little later (after the pre theatre crowd has left) because it can be noisy if your on the ground level. Excellent waiters and the food is very good. I love the Italian cheese cake made with ricotta cheese!

This was by far the worst lunch or dinner experience I've had in NYC! Patsy's is a well know institution with a great reputation ... well until now. They have lost there touch with reality of what good service and atmosphere is in modern times as well as food trends. It's wonderful to be old school and stick to traditional... More

The food at PATSY'S is excellent, service, the people and seeing the pictures on the walls from all the famous people that ate there. The food is outstanding, if you want to eat Italian Patsy's is a must. This is a NEW YORK landmark.

Old school Italian food--that's it. Whatever you order absolutely delicious and I've been going to Patsy's for as long as I can remember...over 35 years and it's still one of my favorite places to eat anywhere. Whether you order traditional Italian or something a little fancier the food is the essence of Italian cooking; always the freshest and best ingredients.... More

Patsy's is my favorite restaurant in NYC. I go there every time I'm in the city. The food is always superb. And, they treat you like you are family. The staff is the best. I usually order from the Specials and love it. One daughter loves the tortellini bolognese and the other daughter loves the linguini al pesto. On this... More

Five of us had early Sunday dinner following a Carnegie Hall concert. We were welcomed and seated warmly, by people who really seem to enjoy having patrons. Everyone--every single person we came in contact with--was as pleasant as could be. Service was friendly and leisurely, no rush despite the restaurant being full. The food was excellent--especially recommended is the sweet... More

What to say....???!!!!! Atmosphere excellent, can totally see the history and the famous who were/are regulars. Service impeccable, friendly warm - adds to experience. Food out of this world. I had a sausage pasta special which was perfectly balanced and cooked with love. My husband had the chicken Marsala and is still not over it! Tender creamy loveliness created with... More

This restaurant has a very warm, family feel about it, the staff are all friendly, genuine and have a sense of humour. The food was lovely, very authentic. I had the veal parmigiana and my husband had the giant meatballs - both were flavoursome and delicious. I would definitely visit here again, next time with an emptier stomach so I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
