Maybe the glory days when Sinatra hung out are best remembered and not relived. After many years away, we decided to revisit a favorite place from years ago. Sooooo disappointing. Service was reasonably efficient but impersonal. The prices would be tolerable if the food was better. We tried the stuffed calamari that boasted shrimp and lobster filling. The plate came... More

We arrived without a reservation. They were fairly busy but they found us a table. The service was fast, attentive and professional. The food was great. I had the best cheese ravioli I have had in a long time and the Italian bread was the kind I always had as a child that is seemingly very hard to find today... More

We called and placed a reservation about an hour or so before we got there and the woman that talked to us was very rude. Once we arrived we ordered fairly quickly but the chicken Alfredo was terrible, the chicken parm was decent but the service was so slow and we got refills twice during the whole 2 1/2 hours.... This review is for those people that really enjoy the New York Italian restaurant experience. Do you ever watch those shows on the food channels where they interview patrons and they always say, “this is as good as my grandmother used to make”. You want that feeling? Go to Patsy’s. My family is from Naples and we all can cook... More

Nice classy Italian restaurant. 4 generation family run restaurant. Service from staff was great and helpful. Chef comes and greets you at your table before and after dinner. I tried a pasta with fresh tomato basil sauce with bacon and onions. Delicious!

But Patsy's hasn't. A server's job is not just to take your order and bring you your food. They should take care of you if you need it. We did since it was our first trip to Patsy's. Great suggestions, attention to detail, and some stories and good laughs. It fit perfectly into our group and made the experience much... More

There is no place like Patsy's. This family owned generations operated business really know how to treat their customers not only with great Italian food but the graciousness of its always present owner Sal. A GREAT historian with every celebrity that visited Patsy's and a short story as you will dine on terrific food. The veal dishes are excellent and... More

Overall nice experience. Always a stop in NYC; visited several times. Service is excellent. Appetizers are very good; stuffed artichoke is outstanding; pasta dishes excellent; not giving 5 stars because meat dishes, stuffed pork chop, calves liver, are very common. Sal Scognamillo frequently visits the front, and makes you feel like your at home. Will definitely return, but must be... More

Unbelievable food and the staff made it a great time. We didn't have a reservation but we got lucky and filled in for a recent cancellation. If spaghetti and met balls is on the specialty menu; take their word for it. Thank you! What a first night in NY!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
