We were introduced to this restaurant on a foods of New York walking tour, and came back a few days later to try the famous meatballs - they really were that amazing, so tender and full of flavour! The seafood risotto was also delicious and cooked perfectly. We had the broccoli starter which we both loved. The interior is just... More

Saturday was a hazy, humid and hot day, and rain began falling down as if it was the end of the world. My family was walking on Bleeker street with two umbrellas for three people, a shelter was needed. Against my habit of checking tripadvisor reviews before going into a restaurant, we literally bumped againts Trattoria Pesce Pasta and decided... More

Tried this place after wandering around looking for no where inparticular. Sat across from some very polite locals who recommended eating off the menu. The waiter suggested a chicken dish and it turned out to be the best pasta meal I'd ever eaten. Went with a beautiful Cabernet which we were introduced to by the locals on the next table.... More

Stumbled across this place while wandering Bleecker street and checking out Murray's cheese shop last May and loved it. Came back for our first meal after coming back this July. Amazing fish prepared fresh and in unique ways. I had the sole sautéed in artichokes and hubby had stripped bass with leaks. Both were excellent. Had asked waiter his opinion... More

We had the best meatball in our lives here. It was so light, so airy, so flavorful. Sauce was perfect, sweet and not acidic. You get two meatballs to an order with spaghetti. Really, really good. We went at lunch time and the place was not full at all.

What a great little New York restaurant! Went for dinner last night. We stopped in because the menu looked nice and, peeking inside, the atmosphere was just right. Had pasta fagioli for appy... Excellent. I had veal parm and my friend had ravioli, solid Italian meals.. They were perfect. The portion size was just right. Service was attentive but not... More

Ate here twice on a visit to NYC. The meatballs are to die for and my hubby loved his Red Snapper. Delicious food, nice wait staff, and not crazy expensive. Wish we had a restaurant like this in Orlando. Nothing even close.

We had arrived in town a bit late and were tired and hungry. Trattoria Pesche restored us. It's a very simple place and really comes down to fish, pasta, wine and a good meal. It's not fancy. It knows what it is and does it well. On offer is a list of the latest fish that can then be prepared... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
