The food and service were as excellent and outstanding as the iconic location of this NY dinning institution. A lovely meal on a Saturday night with the temperature at 90 Inside the air conditioned space looking at the ice skating ring without the ice. The size of the whole fish surpassed my expectation and the preparation was top notch. The... More

Hidden under Rockefeller Center with a view of ice skating in the winter, this sea food restaurant delivers well prepared and delicious food. It is not cheap, but the service is responsive and the experience a very pleasant one.

Stopped by here for a late night snack and drink after a show and were seated and handed dinner menus. Options were limited for small plates and the special that was on the board for burger, fries, and a beer was only offered in the bar. Therefore, we were at the mercy of very pricey food. The atmosphere was nice... More

Hadn't been back for many years, but took my wife and daughter for a treat to this Rock Center attraction. Wonderful menu, great seafood and great service.

I recently booked a table for 8 at The Sea Grill to celebrate a good friends' birthday on July the 15th. When I called the establishment to see if I may bring a cake from an outside bakery. She hesitated and said "I need to ask, if that is allowed". OK........Another woman gets on the phone and I asked her... More

Came here like most people while touring around Rockefeller center. The USD 45 menu gives you a starter and a main. We tried the excellent seafood chowder for starter and then risotto and skate. Everything was quite good, and service polite and efficient. Friendly waiter tells a lot of stories about New York, a bit touristy but then again we... More

This is one of my favorite NYC restaurants year round. During the colder months, we can watch the skaters and when it's warm, we enjoy dining al fresco. If you have the opportunity, ask for Nikki, a fabulous server with a winning personality! Sea Grill's crab cake has spoiled me so that it's hard to order one anywhere else. It's... More

The Sea Grill is esp. in summer with an open terrace a great place to enjoy a relaxing lunch. We had shellfish platter incl. 1/2 lobster, clam, oysters, etc. for 39 USD which were absolutely fresh and delicious. Combined with an excellent bottle white wine and an amazing key lime pie we had a great time thanks to our attentive... More

Came here for lunch. Whole Bronzini fish was delicious. Can't really go wrong here but it is on the pricey said. It's in the middle of Rockefeller Plaza. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
