You have a view of the 30 Rock skating rink which is fun, but doesn't fill you with confidence on the food. The tables were set well, the service staff were polite, helpful and efficient. We never felt rushed and enjoyed our meals. The food was good, but not so memorable as we recall what we had - a month... More

We walked into The Sea Grill on a busy night when people were out to see the windows for Christmas, and were able to get a table right away. This was great particularly because the Rock Center Cafe was closed for a private party. Our table was comfortable, and the waitress both personable and efficient. The menu was a prix... More

Not even got to New York yet let alone eat here and the customer service is truly shocking. Have booked for our wedding day and asked nearly two months ago for a window table to celebrate. keep getting the block answer that our general manager will reach out to you, NOTHING. If we hadnt booked through open table and left... More

Had drinks and appetizers at the bar. Service was poor even though the bar was not crowded. Food was good. It was fun to watch the ice skaters.

It was raining during my last day in New York. Walking around Rockefeller Center was a cozy way to spend the day. Sat by a window overlooking the Ice Rink at the Sea Grill. The waiter was very attentive-promised I would mention him in my review, but I forgot his name:( I enjoyed the Lobster Pot Pie, which the chef... More

Location restaurants sometimes rely on their view to prop up the food. Visited in Thanksgiving Day and despite the crowd I had some of the best short ribs I'd ever had. The facilities are getting a little worn and dated,b up the food was good.

The wife and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary. What made me choose this place this year was the fact that I work just above, and across from Rockefeller for nearly 10 years. I try to take my wife to a new restaurant every year. So I booked a reservation on “Open Table” in September. Sea Grill is beautifully... More

Second trip to this restaurant in two years. Wanted to bring our 7 year old daughters to have a nice dinner and let them watch the skaters. Food is very good, service was excellent. Expensive but worth it.

Located in the heart of Rockefeller Center, the Sea Grill offers a direct view on the ice rink during the Winter. The focus is fresh sea food including chowder and crab cakes. Excellent service and moderate background noise level. Very popular at lunch with business crowd. Not cheap of course

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very nice as you have a view to the ice rink at Rockefeller Center. The service is average and the food overall is ok. The chowder is very good, though. But it is pretty expensive. I guess you pay for the novelty. It is a nice place to go and experience the setting once.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
