This is a wonderful midtown Italian restaurant. The place draws a crowd, but does not disappoint in the service, seating or quality of the food. Wanted a romantic dinner for two, and received excellent service and wonderful food.

Great place for dining after a Carnegie Hall performance, or Broadway. Delicious food, drinks, espresso, and cappuccino. Great location, and very service oriented staff that remembers their customers. Excellent upstairs and downstairs private event/party rooms are also available.

Stopped by for an early dinner; 2 adults, 2 children. Had 3 pasta dinners; salad and 1 pizza. Every dish was outstanding. We had the ravioli, simple pizza; and penne in alfredo sauce and were amazed at how savory they made each simple dish.

I went to a business dinner here in August. It was a private party, and they were bringing in hors d'eurves and wine, after which we had dinner. The facility was very nice and was at a decent location. All of the food and wine was first rate. The 101 layer lasagne was especially good. Dessert was just so so.... More

I last ate here more than 20 years ago, when this institution was smaller and less crowded. I was impressed the food is still quite good. (I only had one dish, an interesting burrata ravioli with an interesting roasted cauliflower sauce, but everyone around me was clearly enjoying their meals.) But, boy, is the place bustling! This is not a... More

We didn't know we were looking for this place, until we found it! A fantastic welcome and a great ambience. The food was absolutely excellent, something for everyone and all delicious. Not cheap but it won't break the bank either. Definitely worth a try if you love Italian. They said they had the best cannoli in NY and after tasting... More

The food is excellent only to be surpassed by the quality service. Our waiter was always there at the right time and never let our drinks go empty. He also managed to create a cheese plate, which is not on the menu, for us at the end of the meal. Suggest the soul. It is a bit pricey, though treat... More

We met our family here for dinner while NYC recently. The staff was friendly and attentive with helpful suggestions. The antipasto bar was wonderful as were the dinner selections. The wine was delicious and some of us saved room for the incredible desserts….. Kid friendly...

My sister, her friend Victoria, my partner, and I had dinner before we took in a production of Something Rotten! Dinner and drinks were very good. As we had reservations, we weren't sure why we--four women--were seated so close to the kitchen, but we'll let that go.

Near Columbus Circle, Central Park, and Carnegie Hall. Small little unassuming place with on the sidewalk dining. Has a few areas that can be used for a large party. We had the entire upstairs to ourselves. The pizza appetizers were super thin crust and delicious. We were only given selected offerings for our large party to choose from so I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
