I never miss Lady M when I visit NY!! It is melt in your mouth goodness that can't be missed!! Try the traditional layered cream cake... In any flavor!! Or the banana crispy cake!! Stay or go... Just don't miss it!!

I heard a lot of reviews about Lady M, so I figured I would give it a try. Honestly, it was so basic, I don't understand the hype. They do have good options that sound appealing, but when I went, they were out of most of them. The portions are small for the price. Again, the food is basic. So... More

Reached there with most items sold out but I was glad that I found the famous 20 Layers crepe cake I have tried the vanilla and the coconut . loved the vanilla more , well balanced and light... We stopped in and quickly ordered their Signature Mille Crêpes which they are known for. Three of us shared one since we only wanted a taste (we were doing a walking food tour of the city and this was one of our stops). The crepe was as tall as a slice of cake and melted in your mouth. It seems... More

My late wife found the Mille caje through an ad in the New York Times, ordered it for a party, and received many compliments. We both visited an eye doctor at Park and 64th, and we were delighted to find this smal lshop, featuring not only that cake but many other interesting desserts and a fine range of coffee and... The Mille crepe cake is simply one of the most amazing "cakes" we have ever had. For a special occasions it will be a wonderful surprise, for a treat just get a slice.

It was one of the few times when the cakes not only looked beautiful, but they also were extremely delicious. Definetely a place to visit. On the expensive side for a slice of cake, but it is NYC.

A small cake shop in the promenade of Rockefeller Center. Delicious cakes and pastries to eat while touring this vast edifice. A little pricey for what you get but the tastes are worth it.

The green mille feuille is to die for. So worth the calories. Not too sweet, not to bitter, just matcha right!! I would definitely come back for it.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
