Excellent food of varied tastes. Service and food were great but the papaya salad was overly spicy; it did not need to be so. The pork soup was excellent but very overpriced at $34 for a large bowl of coconut based soup. Overall a nice...experience but good foodMore

Our lunch was total perfection. The flavor profiles, quality of ingredients and presentation is totally worthy of their Michelin plate rating. Service was perfect. There is nothing nothing negative about our experience. We will definitely be back.

Very nice interior. Nice atmosphere; a bit loud. I really enjoyed my pork Spring Rolls and the brussel sprout small plate. Three people in our party found the food so incredibly spicy that is was inedible. The shrimp were very very hot. The chicken salad...burned for days. The sweet chili chicken was also horribly spicy. And this was eaten by a person who has a jug of sriacha next to them at dinner. A heat indicator or perhaps some additional words in the menu would be great.More

We attended the nearby Van Gogh experience on Vesey Street. Our son found Khe-Yo Laotian Michelon guide review. Wonderful quiet spacious outside dining. Food was amazing. We family styled a bunch of the small plates and also shared the spare ribs large plate. Awesome mix...of many wonderful flavors and textures.More

Not weather protected outdoor which they do not mention when you book. We got there and it was raining, the table they offered us was totally wet and clearly not protected from the rain. Got soaked after 5 min. No alternative option offered besides coming...back 75 min later to get another table. Non apologetic staff. We won’t return.More

What a gem! The outdoor seating area is lovely, the service is friendly and attentive, and the cocktails and food are incredible! Our favorite cocktails were the Thai chili cucumber vodka and the tamarind ginger mimosa. Then we were blown away by the crunchy coconut...rice with sausage, the Berkshire pork spring rolls, the crispy brussel sprouts, and sticky rice with sauces. Can't wait to go back!More

We had a wonderful outdoor lunch at Khe-Yo. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful in educating us about the food. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed all the dishes we tried. The hen of the woods mushroom banh mi was fantastic and we...are hoping to have it again soon. We shared the grilled salmon bowl with sticky rice. Very good and very different. Our waitress suggested we try a special dish - brussell sprouts and they were terrific. Definitely on our list for another visit when we are in NYC.More

Khe-Yo has such delicious food, I’m still thinking about the rice dish I got. The interior is very lovely and great for different types of groups. The only part of my experience that was slightly off putting was the way in which the waiter dealt...with my gluten allergy. They have several gluten free dishes, but he would sometimes answer questions in a convoluted manner. In my experience, it is always best to be clear and direct when speaking about allergies, which is something I recommend Khe-Yo make a priority for their staff. I would definitely return and had such an amazing meal.More

Go here, eat everything, leave happy. Had a selection of veggie and meat due to a group of us, and some of the flavours i have never tried before were outstanding. Just an amazing experience of flavour and texture. You have to go.

Wow! A friend of mine brought me to Khe-Yo, and what a great find. It's a fairly small place a couple blocks north of Chambers St station. Interior has a country feel with lots of wood and brick walls. Can also get a bit noisy....The food is stellar, and true to what you'll find in Laos, right down to the rice being served in little woven bamboo baskets. We ordered a few plates to share: beef jerky, quail, lobster noodles. It was quite a feast, and all dishes excellent. The cocktails are the work of a mad genius as well, leading us to have probably more than we should have. At least I didn't have to work the next day!More
